I totally understand where you're coming from, I was looking for a Blu-ray double as well. What I ended up doing is just buying a Video ipod compatible unit so that I can just copy my "DIGITAL COPIES" ,that come with my blu-rays, onto my 160Gb IPOD. I went with a Kenwood model with GPS, and I love it. Although there are some Pioneer units that are compatible with IPHONEs.... Wish mine was, I would love to get Pandora thru it or even YouTube... but thats my 2 cents.

I'm converting an 04 SSS to electric fans and upgrading the Alternator to a DR44G 1454 amp. I bought the new "bigger" belt to compensate for the bigger pulley on the alternator but am wondering how the belt is going to be run now. I'm installing the HPM electric fans and the DR44G Alternator with the Goodyear gatorback V-belt #4060930. Thanks in advance for any input...

Looking to buy a new Optima battery to replace my old Red Top, wondering if anyone recommends a certain model( Red or Yellow). I have (2)12' JL subs and a 500W amp with inline capacitor. I'm looking to upgrade so that I can install my HPM electric fans. Also, does this alternator look like a good buy or just over kill...? Will it fit my 04 SSS? here is the link for the ebay auction of a 250Amp alternator:250Amp Alternator .

Thanks for the input, I had heard both from different people. Just trying to get the right answer. I'm looking to buy the OEM kit on eBay which comes with everything from switch to bulbs, and even a 1 year warranty.

do i need to retune my PCM to install fog lights on my 04 SSS? They are the stock OEM fog lights and the OEM switch.

What's up guys? My name is Jorge and just as the title and description read, I'm ready to get an annual Rally/event/gathering started in this great state! I believe this can either change location, or remain in one spot; the thing is to get it here! We all have our own lives and get caught up in them from time to time, but lets make time to make this happen. I've lived in many cities in this great state and many places around the world, needless to say they're ain't no place like Texas! Just like they're aint no chevy owner like an SSS owner! I've only seen pictures of events in other states so why not TEXAS???

Hey man I've heard mixed reviews on the matter at hand. Some love it some hate it. I ditched my stock for a Borla XR-1 and man does it scream.

What Does A Sts Turbo Kit Run For?
jtmarine02 replied to jtmarine02's topic in Forced Induction and Nitrous
Sorry I should have been a bit more clear, what does a complete kit cost and what other mods might I need to get either before or with the kit. Thanks for the input though. -
Hey man, quick question... Where did you get that extra rail(spolier) that you have below your front bumper?
-
those lights look great, one question though. How much amperage do they consume? Noticeable?
-
Anyone know what STS turbo kits run for now and days for my SSS?
-
just wondering what people think about them, out the door the y would run me 580 for all 4...?

Thinking About Buying A Pontiac G8 Gt.
jtmarine02 replied to jtmarine02's topic in Off-Topic/General
thanks for all that input! Keep it coming... We went and test drove a different one, white non-leather w/ sunroof & 40K miles, just to see how it drove. Both the wife and I loved it. I really dig the power that it has. Now its time to decide if we are choosing the G8 GT or my wife's 2nd choice, a 2008 G35 Infinity Sedan... Pray for me that we get the G8... lol -
So it's time to buy my wife a new car to replace her 05 Mazda 3. We are looking to buy another sedan since we only have 1 kid and a SUV isnt necessary yet. (although I'd love a new GMC Yukon Denali w/ 6.2L) Anyways we found a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with 17K miles for 24998. It's got a 6.0L GM engine and its color is near that of my Arrival Blue SSS. I love that blue! Anyways wanted to get you guy's opinion on the car.... here is the link to it if you wanna browse.G8 GT link. Thanks and let me know what y'all think!

They look good on your truck, but are you thinking about dropping your truck at all? It would look a hell of a lot better dropped... My .02 cents

Matt is right, once you remove your factory center console you'll need to figure out how to run the existing wires so that they are not exposed. From the factory, they are ran above your carpet and sit on a plastc cable tray. I've ran my GPS's and other aftermarket wiring along side these wires,so Ive seen this before. Unless you remove your Bose sound system, you'll have to keep the wiring in order for your radio system to work properly, if at all. Good luck!

Your truck looks clean man! Lookin' good!
