I would love to have kept it, but it was time for a change and it never got driven. I was even afraid to take the thing out anymore. So I stipped it clean of all the aftermarket stuff. Going in tomorrow to have all my stereo equipment taken out and put back to stock. Def was a nice truck and I was lucky to even have it.

Ok guys, sadly the truck is gone and I have a few things I need to get rid of. If you think the price is out of line give me your best offer. The truck was rarely driven so most of this stuff is like new or new. I also have the Gemtop GT classic tonneau cover and Bedrug. This will need to be local pickup only. For sale is my 2006 Silverado SS in Victory Red. It is time to move on and let someone else enjoy this truck. The truck rarely gets driven and is just collecting dust in my garage. Got my truck back from my tuner. Came back at 299rwhp and 340 rwtq. He had to adjust a lot MAF transfer functions and VE functions to get the truck dialed in. He said I gained about 10HP with the CAI. Have not had a chance to drive it yet, but looking forward to a better throttle response.

Not yet. He had other paying customers to do so I left the truck at his shop. He is doing this for free so money talks. Hope to have it back tomorrow.

Wow I did not know that, thanks for the info. Maybe I am wrong about the 91 octane.

Taking the truck down to have it dyno tuned today. The same tuner who tuned my blown GT will be doing the truck and will be using HP Tuners software. The truck is basically stock with only an AEM CAI and super servo. The current PCM tune has the shift points firmed up and set to run on 91. Kind of excited to see how she does and what kind of numbers it puts down. Any guesses? I will post up later how things went.

5 speed which makes it a blast to bang through the gears.

I hope I don't get flamed, but this is my other toy that I have been working on lately. My wife bought this for me as a DD so I would not have to drive the SS as much. Decided it needed a little more power so I threw on an intercooled Vortech V2 SQ. Went from 240rwhp stock to 381rwhp and 372rwtq. For what it is, it is a pretty quick little car and tons of fun to drive. Anyway here are a few pics of the build. Again I am a car enthusiast, not brand loyal.

Yeah it seemed like overkill for what they were doing. There were 3 cops cars, 5 fire trucks from Peoria, 1 fire truck from Glendale, 2 EMT trucks and 2 specialty vehilces. Plus about 20 guys. 12 of them walked up that mountain to get her. I was relly expecting a helicopter to show up.
