That dude could have cared less about that car. He actually walked around to the front to make sure nothing was hitting after he destroyed the back end and still ended up dragging it down the street. What an idiot.

We get everything. Snakes, Coyotes, scorpions ( in the house) and have even seen Javalina in the street. Coyotes will run through the front yard up the hill and the only snakes we have seen are gopher snakes. No rattlers yet. Fingers crossed. The joys of living right next to the desert. It was very impressive to watch them get this girl down. It happens a lot here and they have even had to use helicopters to get people off the larger mountains. There are a lot of walking trails for people to use.

So this morning there was a bunch of commotion out in front of my house so I walk outside to see all of this. We have a trail head right out my front door and people walk it all the time. This couple was walking the trail and the girl must have taken a fall. There were a total of 9 emergency vehicles including a technical rescue team that had to walk up the mountain and haul her down on a one wheel stretcher. It was really cool to see this. Those guys and girls of the local fire department do a great job. Some pics for you enjoyment.

Yeah that was already done when I had the P4000. I have a switch under my dash that I can flip when I want to have a DVD play.

No not refurbished. It was listed as used, but when it showed up at the house it seemed like no one had even opened the box. Amazon sells things listed as used (like new) even if the box was never opened and just sent back. And yes keeping it for right now. The family talked me out of it... :-)

after almost 2 years of not having a HU in the truck I finally pulled the trigger on the AVH-P4200DVD. It is an awesome unit. Much better then my old P4000 unit which went into my wifes ride. Got the unit for $330 off Amazon. I was going to grab the new P4300, but the extra $60 did not seem worth it since all it really had was the Pandora upgrade. I can still get Pandora on the P4200 with the iPhone. Great features, easy to navigate and sounds awesome with my system. Still need to do some fine tuning but overall I am very pleased. I still need to get the bezel for around the screen to clean it up a bit.

No actually this was the JennaBears Foundation car show. They no longer have the Fire It Up car show. Was costing the guy way to much money to run so they stopped it. There are a few more car shows coming up that I will hit, but the weather is warming up so they will be over soon. and thanks for the compliment. Truck can't get dirty if you don't drive it. LOL!

So it has come to that time where I am considering selling the SS. Honestly I have kind of grown tired of it. I don't drive it much and It just sits in the garage. I have looked around Auto Trader, Kelly Blue Book, Nada and Ebay and I was wondering what you think a fair price would be? Only has 17,000 miles and is as clean as the day it came off the showroom floor. Everything I have done to the truck is in my sig. I would like some honest opinions please. Thanks!

So I was on my local Mustang sight and came across a thread about a race at Firebird on Feb 4th. It was posted by the guy that Chase ran with the red 99 Lightning. He wasn't really being too bad and said that he would have loved to had a closer race and knows Chase was having issues with his truck. But unfortunately others chime in who are brand loyal and start bad mouthing Chevy. So I stepped in and gave my 2 cents worth and also let this guy know that yes, Chase was having issues and that he was running at a different elevation that the truck is used too. I drive both a Chevy and Ford and hate brand loyalty. If it has an engine then I am all over it. I have never met Chace, but I got your back man! Scott

I use the cover once in a while. It is such a pain to put on because the truck is so big. I use the detailer all the time. Just make sure you wipe the truck down with a California duster first. I use high quality micorfiber towels too. I don't think I have washed the truck in months. Never gets out in the rain.

It does have shackles on the rear, but for the most part I really like the stock stance. Rides really nice also. Thanks Dan! I use Meguiar's professional line of products and a DA polisher. The truck sits in the garage most of the time so when I get it out I use Meguiars detail spray. Plus I clay bar it every six months. I really want to try the Adams stuff to see if it makes a difference. Maybe I will do that next time I wax it. Thanks again for all the compliments.
