You have purchased one of the finest and most reliable pistols made. Our department issues the Sig P229 in .40 S&W. We have been carrying them since around 1991 and have not had one break or malfunction. Any malfunctions that did occur were determined to be operator error.

I hear you on the gas prices, thank god I don't have to use mine every day, but at least you bought another GM and not a !@#$%^ import.

At my PD I can't supervise my spouse if she were to work there. Does your company have an "Employee Handbook", "SOP", etc, if not, you should see if you can get one written, then everyone knows the rules.

I put a set of Avalanche takeoff 17" wheels with a good set of snow tires on and it handles great.

Lots of folks here very happy with the redesigned Volant and Outlaw. You are going to have to try using the search for feedback on other models even though the search feature won't hunt-up 3-letter phrases (like CAI
).
Mr. P.
They fixed the 3 letter search quite some time ago, works fine. I just searched CAI and came up with 26 pages of info.

I went with the 265/70/17 and put them on Avalanche take-offs. Speedo stayed pretty much the same.

Brian adjusted my shift firmness in my tune and I tow pretty much the same weight setup that you do with no issues. Shifts easy when just cruising around, firmer when on the throttle. When I ordered my tune I told him that I towed a boat.

I've tried both Firefox and Internet Exploder and neither can read them. It's a configuration problem on the server.

I bought my 2504 at a local shop for $225. Take a look at Fle-Online they sell Flo-Pro's.

I've never priced out a CAI, what do the other ones usually run?

Has anyone seen this GM Performance Parts CAI? Good, Bad?? Saw one at my local dealer and it looked pretty nice.

Looking at the post times it looks like BlackSS04 beat dannyc_2006_SS by a few seconds and had dannyc_2006_SS been quicker then he'd been giving me the "I'm with Stupid" sign, which I don't mind at all seeings how I've been a cop for over 30 years and been called just a little worse than that more times than I care to remember!

All of the SSS's I've seen have gray grille inserts. There are a few members on here that have painted their's black.

I am looking for the front center grill insert for the front bumper of a Silverado Intimidator SS. On the regular SS the stock inserts are black. On the Intimidator SS the front grill inserts were changed to silver and I cannot find then anywhere. I work for a Chevy dealership so I already tried to get it through parts, but the part numbers show to be the same from the SS to the Intimidator SS. HELP!!
I have a '03 SSS and my front inserts are silver not black.

I have been following a local story to me (Easton PA) that I know has popped up around everyone's area at least one time. A lady pulls through a fast food drive through, picks up lunch and parks to eat it in a Walmart parking lot. She sets herself up by positioning her drink in the cup holder and opens her burger to remove the lettuce that she has always done in the past. She flips the small piece of lettuce out her window onto the grass median. City officers approched her car and boxed her in and removed her from her vehicle. Long story short, she was written a summons to appear in court for littering.
She was "convicted" and has to pay $1500 in fines and 200 hours of community service.
So the questions: Is a leaf of lettuce really litter? Were the officers to strict,...nothing better to do? Was she made an example of?
I have my own opinions but want to see yours. Over the past 3 months, dozens of heads of lettuce have mysteriously been discovered in the Walmart parking lot
...High school punks!
Sounds like there is a lot more to the story that we are not hearing or the Courts would not have assessed such a penalty.

PN for OEM Chrome Bowtie Grill Emblem?

I stopped in at the parts counter at my dealer and inquired about a chrome bowtie and they said they did not have them. I don't know if he meant gm doesn't make them or they just didn't have any.
I ended up ordering this one from ebay. They also have the plain one like the one in your pic.
