  1. Good to see you again Taylor, I was beginning to think you had given up on us and sold the SS. It's kind of slow around here this weekend due to the "Zippy 2 Event" going on and a lot of our heavy hitters attending it.

PS; Keep a clear mind and a designated driver tonight!post-1454-1153604499.gif

Sorry, Dad & Badge coming out in me!

  2. Hmmm, they look familiar! (except for the brand!) Looks good! I stayed with 20's, and when I get up the nerve, I'm going to drop the back 2" to set it level. I was going to get the Cragar's but when I was ready to buy I was told they were on backorder or something like that, so I went with the American Racing.:thumbs:

  3. Try gmpartsdirect.com, I think they have them for $50.94 a set, so you would need 3 sets. Part number is 15178666. Don't know what total shipping would be though, so that could be a deal killer.

What are you going to do with the old ones?

  4. My son and I went to the Good Guys Car Show in Puyallup, Wa on Sunday. GM had a display of crate engines and when they fired this baby up it made all Red Blooded American Males (maybe even some Canadian's & females) come running faster than kids running for the Sunday dinner bell being rung by Grandma! :D:chevy:

  5. please excuse the quality, I need to buy a new digital camera so I just used my phone.  Not much done to her, just a bedrug, visors, fiberglass tanau, 2 15's under the seat and some custom graphics.  She was purchased by me and my father to be a project truck, but after me getting hit headon and totalling out my  car and my back she sat for a year.  Now that I'v (hopefully) had my last back surgery I'm going to start modding her out since she's gonna replace my show car that was totalled out.

Looks Good! Hope your back mends properly!

You might want to take a look at your SS on your windshield; It appears to be upside down.

  6. First off, I don't know anything about oil ...synthetic, what weight, etc.. :dunno:  My first oil change is comin up and I want to put somthin good in it, one friend says Royal Purple works great, even gives you alittle extra HP. Another says the Mobil 1 is the one to go with. Jus lookin for some advice. Or is there somthin else I should look in to?

Here is a web site with lots of info on Oil.

  7. We were in Monroe, Wa yesterday at a Car Show and when leaving I saw a SSS sitting out across the parking lot all by its self. Drove over by it and talked briefly with the owner who was out walking his dog. He has a Black SS with a black canopy/topper. I asked him if he has heard of SSS.com and he said that he had not, but would check it out. Seemed like a real nice guy. Hopefully he'll check us out.

  8. they are nice, they would look alot better if they were bigger they are kinda tiny for the sss

Yea, I would have liked them to have been a little bigger but they are pretty much the same size as other off-the-shelf tips, but to have had some custom made would have probably cost a pretty penny.
