just an fyi, from doing a *search* through old posts, I found that there was basically only one harness on our trucks, so we should have the harness already wired for fogs, just need a switch and possibly the bcm re-flashed. I say possibly b/c some do, and some don't. hope this helps. I'll be trying to get mine installed tomorrow. * I spent an hour this morning looking for the harness, and had no luck, so I guess I'll make my own, or find one from the boneyard.

I'm there with you bro, I'm a union electrician, and work really sucks,I've been off a few weeks, and unemployment is so backed up right now, it's taken 4-6 weeks to see the first umemployment checks, it's ****ed up. Selling my truck is a possibility also, I'd feel liek a part of me would die if I lost her. I think they were around 30 shipped. The only problem I had was that the ballast went out after three weeks, and I took them out and ran silverstars, but when I had the truck apart to paint, I figured I'd try and hook them back up again, and I'll be damned if they both didn't work again. I got them off ebay.

i used rust-oleum semi gloss black #239107. you could use wal-mart paint i suppose, but this is good shit. I'm going to spray the radiator this week, supposed to be nice and warm. weird fir february in indiana

So since I'm laid off of work, and I had some free time (mother-in-law was watching my son) I figured I'd finish blacking out my front end. I didn't notice it until now, but do you guys think I should spray the radiator black also? You can kinda see it through the grill. Will this affect cooling at all? Maybe a dumb question? Anyways, let me know what you guys think. I also have my 4 way headlight mod done, as well as 10K HID's. I know it's filthy!!My wife 'bout had a heart attack when she saw the truck like this!!

I think they are approx 12" long 2" tall, and accept a three inch pipe. The nhra season started, so I'll talk to him when he gets back in town. They are going to look identical to the other tips as far as visually, just not as huge. I'll keep you posted.

can you buy just the harness from a dealer? i thought it was all a kit?

could'nt you make your own harness? Yeah it would take a little time, but all you would need is a hot wire, a ground, a relay, and a switch correct. You can buy the connectors from aftermarket places for cheap, piece it all together adn then you'd have it. Let me know if I'm wrong

I've got a buddy who works for a drag race team, and he's fabbing me up some tips just like that, although it'll be able to accept a 3" exhaust, and won't be as large as the boom tubes, I love that look. I can see if he'd fab you up a set also, he's cheap.
