I figure that in may of 2010 when I graduate from the electrical appreticeship, I'm going right to the dealer for a SS Convertible!! I can't wait for the new Camaro, I love the retro trend these days with the Mudstains, and challengers. But there's no way in hell I would pay 12-15k OVER sticker price for the new challengers. Hey slopar, why don't you realize, you could take a huge chunk of the mustang market if you offer the challenger in packages like the new camaro and the mudstains. Base v6, small v8, hi-po v8, all fairly priced. Oh well, off topic sorry...

got it, actually I was trying to count the passes, and I was like, wtf is that?

good to see all the responses. i told my wife that we were planning this, and in typical wife fashion, she just rolled her eyes and gave me the smile , so I'm in! I was thinking of going to Friday night quals at orp for the nats anyway. if anyone's interested, there's a great dive bar(staging Lanes) just east of orp on 136. but whatever we decide works for me.

it's funny with all the crap going on in the world, and the monogamy of day to day life, this is a funny story! It's def better than people killing people, or towelheads blowing themselves to pieces...I guess that anwsers the age old question...How to stuff 500lbs of crap in a hundred pound freezer..lol

I've used the snap-on one, pricey, but good. As far as dewalt, I would have to assume that it's like all there other tools, crap. have you searched ebay and craigslist? Sometimes you might find one on there.

just my .02 but I've got a 42" vizio lcd, and for the money it's badass!! Lcd's run cooler than plasmas, and are lighter. My buddies got a dlp, and he paid 2500 for his, mine cost 900 and his wife even said my vixio has a better picture than his. just a thought... btw, vizio is made by sony!

I'm not saying any one system is crappy, I just think that spending 600+ on a exhaust is a bit much for me. Besides, I want it race car loud, and I think that this is a start. Winter's around the corner(sucks), so I'll have time to add headers before the spring.
btw, do we have 3" exhaust inlet, or 2 1/2? Also, will it make a major diff. if we have 2 1/2 and i step up to three?
-
I just can't justify spending 600 + on a crappy cat back exhaust. I'd rather spend a couple hundred now, and take the money I saved and put it towards a set of headers and hi-flo cats.
-
This has probably been covered before, but here goes: I've got my buddy from a nhra team fabbing up some custom exhaust tips, and looking under my truck and seeing that ginormous muffler got me thinking, instead of paying 500 + for a cat back exhaust, is there a dual in/dual out muffler that will let me remove the muffler, replace with after market muffler, and fab up short pieces of exhaust to exit in front of the wheels? Also, how does this affect the computer? I'll eventually be upgrading to a cai, headers and hi-flo cats, and a new tune, but since I just had a new baby, i need to let the bank account grow again. Any thoughts or suggestions as to what muffler sounds good, or photos. Thanks

yeah, basically. I used a hundred punds as my shipping weight, surely they wouldn't be over that do you think? If you want them, i can box them up and ship them out to you. just let me know.

using a rough estimate weight of 100 lbs, and your zip(73051) it'll be about 80 to ship.

-

What kind of tire dressing is everyone using? I tried the armor all tire dressing, decent shine, but no matter how I put it on, it flings crap on to my truck. I've tried Eagle one, and it's an awesome wet look, but it too slings crap on the truck. I've tried letting the tires dry for hours, but still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
