Thanks for the heads up 12's. I think I'll order a set, hell there only 200. Did you get a seperate set for your hi beams? I just saw a 9006 kit listed. Just wondering how to go about getting hi hid's.

I was wondering if there were any Silverado SS window decals out there. I thought one across the top of my windsheild would look cool, and support the site(I know, I'll be donating the 24.99 soon), just a thought.

Here's a couple pics I took this weekend(finally nice enough to wash her). I'm getting some overtime at work the next couple of weeks, so I think that I'm going to tint the windows 15%(or darker) all the way around, and get some new hid lights.Still too cold to remove the stupid taillight covers as well as the dealer logo.

yeah, that would be sweet. I really don't like the look of projectors, but I would like to have the angel eyes, and be able to switch them on and off. Let me know.

I really don't know if i want the projectors, but I thought the angel eyes looked cool, and projectors seem to be the only place I can find angel eye headlights.

What is the best brand to get when converting to an HID set-up. I was thinking of going with an aftermarket headlight hsng, the ones with angel eyes, and three led's on the side, but with the hid setup's they range in price from 99 up to 250.00. What's the difference. All the ones I've looked at had two ballasts and two lamp leads. Thanks for the help.

hey evan, if it's a push button switch with a pic of alight and little lines pointing down, I think that's your cargo light switch. Sounds like a good deal, I just picked mine up today, and absolutly love it!! Mine came with the roll-lock soft cover, it's pretty sweet. I thought I wanted a hard lid, but it's too hard to haul shit with a hard lid.imo. Good luck with your purchase, sounds like a good deal!!

Brought her home today, 200 Miles, I was impressed on how well she drove!! Light covers are off, did that a t the first gas station, big improvement. Now, Ijust need a name for her..any suggestions?

i made my wife watch it with me, halfway through I turned to windtunnel on speed. The show sucked. really, the only show that they've remade that is worth a shit in my opinion is transformers. Dukes sucked, knight rider sucked, ateam will suck! Is knightrider supposed to be a weekly series, because the ending made it seem like there was more to come?

Yeah, headlight covers, taillight covers... gone.. unsure about the sweet flaps, maybe it'll protect the body a little?

The first mod I'm thinking of doing to my truck is a set of hid projector headlights. I've seen some on ebay for around 150-160. Anyone use these, or have suggestions on what to get? I kinda like the "angel eyes" look, just didn't knwo how difficult it was to install. Thanks

Here's some more dealer pics. Definitely removing the light covers, unsure of the bug guard and flaps, I might keep them if it helps protect the paint.

Quick update, basically all that's left to do, is sign for it! They came off 1500 off the truck, paid mine off plus 500 (my trade's a piece of crap) and paid my taxes (1000). And the salesman said it couldn't be done. So hopefully I can go get it in the next couple fo days. bad part is that I've already been looking through accessory catalogs!! I'm thinking a Gibson Super Truck exhaust system. Any thoughts or recommendations? I ended up paying more than what I wanted to, but I'll have to cut down on my beer intake, or switch to a cheaper beer like Natty Lt. I'll try to post some pics when I get it back to Indy!

Sweet, thanks again. I'm definitely going with that kit, I think I'll just put a hella bulb or something in my drl's to make those brighter! Do you have the 4way hi/lo kit on your truck? Just wondering how hard it was to install that.
