Where do u relocate the gas door to?
It's a clean look but like mentioned a safety concern (hence the ruling). I think shaving the tailgate handle, gas door and color-matching the door handles is very classy. -
I sent charlie a pm today, so just waiting to hear back from him, just kinda looking to get a general idea of costs. I'm trying to decide which way i want to go first with mods. i've got so many i want to do.

If you go with Wheatlet then he will send you a tuned PCM and you can keep your stocker OR send it back. It all depends on wether or not you want to eat the core chargeBTW: did you get my PM about the get together?

what does a standard pcm cost? The reason I ask, is I'm lookign at having my SS pcm done, and would like to have a stock pcm available? Where do I get a replacement pcm at? Thanks

I would think th electronics for the tranny and diff would be a bitch to change out. Why not get a 2wd truck, and add ss trim, probably be a little cheaper

Not to sound like a tardo or anything, but what is the snow kit your talking about? I assume your talking about a methanol injection kit, but I thought that was for diesels. How does it work in gas vehicles?

I know this has been asked before, but here it is: Now that the weather in Indiana is getting warmer, and i've only had my truck a month, what are the exact products I need to buy to wash and wax her. I've heard about zaino on here before, and checked their website, but am a little confused about what I need. She is my daily driver, and has a couple scratches from the previous owner, and want to spend next weekend (supposed to be sunny and warm) detailing her and making her shine. So if any of you have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated! I will be using the hand method, as I'm sure I would burn a hole in my paint with a buffer!!
Also, what's evryone using to wipe off the wax? I've got some micro-fiber towels, but have used the "cheesecloth" rags in the past. I also use the absorber towel to dry it off with. Good, bad??

i worked in the Indy Racing League, and we ran methanol, and it will cause paint to fade a bit. It'll also dry the shit out of your hands! jmo

I was looking at a set of hella yellow gt racer style headlights, and was wondering if anyone makes a diff. colored buld for the drl's. I like the visibility of the yellow light, but can't find any bulbs. Or is it possible, to change connectors to accept a more popular buld, like a 9006 possibly?

Finally got up to 60's on Sunday, light covers are gone. I need to take the bug sheild off, but I just can't bring myself to do it!! I'm thinking if things go right, I'm getting my wheels powdercoated at the end of March.

come to think of it, my drivers mirror was clear, i'll have to try it again tomorrow. Is the element expensive or hard to replace, b/c it sounds like my passneger side one isn't working.

(subject to opinion i reckon), although I did not know about the folding mirrors, but I thought the button for the defrost was the rear window. I don't see any thing on the mirror itself to indicate heated mirrors, and besides, I had the defrost on tonight as a bunch of ice came through Indy, and my passenger mirror is iced over. -
How difficult would it be to install heated mirrors on my 03SS? I saw that an intimidator ss on ebay had heated mirrors, and just wondered what it would take to do the conversion. Thanx

So basically, a recal'd pcm, e85 pres. reg, maybe different lines, and injectors is all needed to run e85? Hell, here in Indy, E85 is only 2.35/gal, petrol is 3.04-3.10/gal. Definitely cheaper to run ethanol.

It's funny, that assbag bush is giving us our own money back, money we've already been taxed on, and then, we get taxed again being as we have to claim it on our taxes next year. Way to go bush, that'll help the economy!!
