Finally got up to 60's on Sunday, light covers are gone. I need to take the bug sheild off, but I just can't bring myself to do it!! I'm thinking if things go right, I'm getting my wheels powdercoated at the end of March.

come to think of it, my drivers mirror was clear, i'll have to try it again tomorrow. Is the element expensive or hard to replace, b/c it sounds like my passneger side one isn't working.

I'm not a complete retard (subject to opinion i reckon), although I did not know about the folding mirrors, but I thought the button for the defrost was the rear window. I don't see any thing on the mirror itself to indicate heated mirrors, and besides, I had the defrost on tonight as a bunch of ice came through Indy, and my passenger mirror is iced over.

How difficult would it be to install heated mirrors on my 03SS? I saw that an intimidator ss on ebay had heated mirrors, and just wondered what it would take to do the conversion. Thanx

So basically, a recal'd pcm, e85 pres. reg, maybe different lines, and injectors is all needed to run e85? Hell, here in Indy, E85 is only 2.35/gal, petrol is 3.04-3.10/gal. Definitely cheaper to run ethanol.

Sweet, thanks again. I'm definitely going with that kit, I think I'll just put a hella bulb or something in my drl's to make those brighter! Do you have the 4way hi/lo kit on your truck? Just wondering how hard it was to install that.

Thanks for the heads up 12's. I think I'll order a set, hell there only 200. Did you get a seperate set for your hi beams? I just saw a 9006 kit listed. Just wondering how to go about getting hi hid's.

Where did you get those at? Is that kit for all hi-lo or just lo beams?

I was wondering if there were any Silverado SS window decals out there. I thought one across the top of my windsheild would look cool, and support the site(I know, I'll be donating the 24.99 soon), just a thought.

Here's a couple pics I took this weekend(finally nice enough to wash her). I'm getting some overtime at work the next couple of weeks, so I think that I'm going to tint the windows 15%(or darker) all the way around, and get some new hid lights.Still too cold to remove the stupid taillight covers as well as the dealer logo.

yeah, that would be sweet. I really don't like the look of projectors, but I would like to have the angel eyes, and be able to switch them on and off. Let me know.

I really don't know if i want the projectors, but I thought the angel eyes looked cool, and projectors seem to be the only place I can find angel eye headlights.

What is the best brand to get when converting to an HID set-up. I was thinking of going with an aftermarket headlight hsng, the ones with angel eyes, and three led's on the side, but with the hid setup's they range in price from 99 up to 250.00. What's the difference. All the ones I've looked at had two ballasts and two lamp leads. Thanks for the help.

hey evan, if it's a push button switch with a pic of alight and little lines pointing down, I think that's your cargo light switch. Sounds like a good deal, I just picked mine up today, and absolutly love it!! Mine came with the roll-lock soft cover, it's pretty sweet. I thought I wanted a hard lid, but it's too hard to haul shit with a hard lid.imo. Good luck with your purchase, sounds like a good deal!!

Brought her home today, 200 Miles, I was impressed on how well she drove!! Light covers are off, did that a t the first gas station, big improvement. Now, Ijust need a name for her..any suggestions?
