  1. Go to gmpartsdirect.com I saw it there listed for 9.85, and my gm dealer also tried to sell it to me for 16.00, but I told him about gmpartsdirect, and he got it to me for the price on the web. just a sugggestion. dealers suck.
  2. Thanks, I just ordered my part from the gm dealer...9.85, good deal.
  3. so is this just a piece that fills in where the ant. hole was?
  4. those are like f**king fats chicks, it might be fun to do, but don't let your friends see you doing it.
  5. wow, thanks for the pix man, i would be pissed! so looks like 06 grill and hood it is! sorry to hear about the hood. Good to see another hoosier, (although being from lafayette, your probably a boiler...lol) on here!
  6. wow, that's ****ed up! I thought I always wanted a harley, but with a kid on the way and assholes like that, i'll stick to my ss for fun. what a tardo.
  7. So I need to get the 06 hood and grill? Is the 06 grill the one that has 2 bars across the front leading to the bowtie?
  8. Looking for a 05-06 Hood and Grill upgrade kit for my SS. Looking for the "HD" hoods that that have a larger "hump" in the middle. Thanks
  9. I'm going to black out the taillights when the truck goes down for the wheels. I've also got a cousin who does some amazing airbrush work, and I think i'm going to have him airbrush some shit on my engine covers also. Thanks for all the nice words guys, I really appreciate it, especially since I haven't driven anything worth a shit for years, lots of beaters!!
  10. Too bad you don't live in Indy, i got a guy that's going to do my rims gloss black for 100/set. Another powdercoating shop quoted 270/set. good luck.
  11. Do i just need an 05-06, 07classic hood and grill. or do I need to get an 05-06 SS hood and grill? Anyone got any pics? also, what does this conversion cost?
  12. Either a cowl hood, or a hd hood, I'm undecided yet!!
  13. So since it was nice here in Indy for a change, and I had a few hours with no chores from my wife, i figure I would finally start on some things I wanted to do to my truck. I washed her Fri. afternoon, and Saturday I waxed her. Then I thought I would take the bowtie off and black it out. So after an hour with q-tips and acetone, my bowtie was clear, scratched(not by me), but clear. I also thought I had grabbed the can of gloss black paint, not untill after I had already taped the front off, and sprayed it did I realize that is was flat black !! So, I put it back together and put it back on, it doesn't look horrible, but I will be getting a billet one and it will be powdercoated along with my wheels. I talked to a buddy today, who has a buddy, who can do my wheels for $100...score!! so I'm going to take him the 5 billet grill pieces, and my billet bowtie to be powdercoated black. Then it's on to the headlights, and darker tint on the windows..It's small start, but a start nonetheless. Also did the amber drl upgrade, awesome, looks a helluva lot better then white.
  14. Here in INdy, you can get 100 + at the yard. there was an article in the paper today, about a guy who had an ice cream place with 44 delivery vans, all of which had there cats and manifolds stolen from them last night. Huge problem with people in Indy area stealing cats, gutting home ac units, siding off of homes that people actually live in, etc.. First person I catch stealing shit from me has a hollow point .40 slug aimed at their cranium, I'll make sure that dental records for id'ing will be impossible!!
  15. I've got a Blk 03 SS, and as soon as Indy powdercoating gets below a three week wait, I'm doing my wheels in black. I think i'll leave the centers off, and maybe have the lugnuts anodized black, or maybe even powdercoated.
  16. Now i'm just awaiting all the legal paperwork!
