Congrats on the purchase.
I've been looking into a tune as well. But before I order one I'd like to get some of the basic mods in place. I got the CAI in now need some exhaust. Then I'll get a tune from someone LOL.. Either Wheatly or Zippy.
Yes kids cost $ too. I'd love to be paying for daipers again rather then collage ;)

If your burnt out on it it's a no brainer. Let her go. unless you can afford and have the space to let her sit.
Sell the whole car, part out, keep motor, etc...

Here is what one guy said..
Hey man I also have a omega alarm and what i have to do is turn the key to on and in 5 seconds hit the valet button 5 times and ur car should chirp once and when this happens within 10 seconds press the lock button on both of ur remotes and it will re syncronize them to the alarm brain.

Guts or Balls...
There is a medical distinction. We've all heard about people having guts or balls, but do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, the definitions are listed below:
GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: ''Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?''
BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt and having the balls to say: ''You're next, fatty.''
I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions. Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome, since both ultimately result in death.

I tried it 3 times and I was a Bobbing Bobcat. I'll have to practice as well. Plus being on a 700mhz puter may not be helping me LOL *making up excuses now eh*

The Glock would be a nice choice as well. I shot our Ballistics Tech's in our range and it's pretty sweet.

You can always look into Greyhound as well. You can just bubble wrap it I think and it's quite a bit cheaper if I remember right. Only bad thing is that the seller and the buyer would have to find your greyhound stops for loading (Seller) unloading (Buyer).
I don't think either has to be there at the time the bus arrives for the shipping or rec. I think where they stop (Say at a gas station or restarant) it can be left at or picked up at.
Just a thought.

i spoke with a corsa rep a few months back who told me that the mufflers are not the same. each muffler is specifically designed for the vehicle, hence the lofty price.

That's great input. One would think the muffler wouldn't matter as long as the location and the size of the inlet/outlet were right.
So I need to narrow down my search to be specific to the SSS and not just a Corsa muffler.

A guy at work just had his Flowmasters replaced with Magnaflow's and has had to have them re-welded 2 times already. They are falling apart. I guess that's why my bud's muffler shop quit selling them. He mentioned that to me lastweek.
I think I'd pass even if it was $50.00 shipped...
If you look hard enough on the internet, you can get a Corsa Sport for our trucks for that price...so why would you buy that and then have to fab to fit?Thanks KissMySilvSS. I'll keep searching

I found a new corsa exhaust kit but it's for a 2006-08 Traiblazer SS Sport-Single Rear Exit w/ Single 4.0" Pro-Series Tip #14256
Do you guys think it's the same muffler just different piping and well single tip as the kits for our SSS?
Found a brand new kit someone's getting rid of for $625.00
Is that too much for something I'd have to MOD?

I remember when I was living in Cali almost 20 years ago now. I was working in Santa Fe Springs and would go out to my pretty tricked out 4x4 and eat my lunch and listen to tunes. Well one day shortly after coming back from vacation (So the toolbox across the bed was still pretty full) I walked out for lunch and there was no truck. I was like WTF!!!!!
The place I worked at had camera's so I called the police and we went up to view the tape. So I got to watch it get ripped off. Just like the ol' movie.. Gone in 60 Seconds.
Guess where they find in 3 days later? YUP South Gate. Stripped parked on the side of the road.
Norwalk police called me a week later saying we found your truck. Well I'd been calling daily about it and already had it towed to a bodyshop new our home. I asked about prosecution beings the car the theifs drove in and out of the parking lot was in the video? They said there was a glare that made it hard to read their plate and we have other important issues to deal with in the dept. that would enhance the video. GRRRRRr PRICKS. They don't care.
I understand back then the technoligy wasn't as good and it wasn't a vicious crime although I felt rapped. They could care less about a car theft.
The way I look at it. If your ride is targeted by the low life scum. It's 98.9% chance your going to lose it. Alarm or not. You can read threads about people getting ripped that had alarms. If they want it bad enough. They will get it.
There was a huge Stereo car show in K.C. MO a couple years ago. People that traveled across the country and had their rides in trailers got them ripped off. See what I mean.
I better stop now because I'm starting to get more pissed as I type this..
