Did you remove the rear bumpstop brackets and mount the bumps to the frame? When I did the 2" rears it bumped pretty rough then when I removed them extension brackets all was well. I got Hangers now and bump hard on a few intersections in our town. I need to install my bags as well & That should correct my issue. Yes put the fronts back on. I've trimmed off 1 nub and have no problems. Good Luck!

Whoops.. Just tossing in my 2¢ of information. I guess it was only worth 1¢ Don't use the "Stop Leak" Sorry for the misinformation.
-
Thanks again. Yea I managed to get it out yesterday with the aid of a screwdriver. It was more of a twist/turn then pop rather then just a pop right out but yes no special tool is needed, although it wasn't as tight as it was when I put it back in but who's to say a new one won't be as tight, I guess I'll find out soon enough ;)

Thanks for all the advice guys! I finally got around to testing with a test light. It appears that my Acc Socket is toasted.(overheated/some melted plastic in it). I have power right at the Acc plug. I also double checked the neg side of the plug in by using the Acc neg and power from the Ciggy. It lit the tester, So the wiring shouldn't be an issue. Now does anyone work at a GM parts counter that would have a part number for the Acc socket? I've searched Ebay and the WWW and can't seem to get anywhere locating this sucker. Or maybe someone has one laying around? LOL Thanks again to all!

Yea I wouldn't jump to it being the Head Gasket. It could be a simple leak but I'm gonna say it's most likely the Notorious Intake Manifold Gasket leak. I've had to have them replaced on a 97 Grand Prix, 95 Silverado & a 2003 Grand Am. Look around on your intake for antifreeze. I wouldn't use stop leak Good Luck to you

Thank you Fireman31 It looks like it should be that simple fuse that I know I've checked a few times. I'll replace it today. If that don't work. I'll check wires.
-
Hey Crusinsilverado Thanks for looking this up, But I think that was one of the first fuses I checked. It's a 20amp one. I pretty much checked all the small fuses that were 20 & 15 amp and some that were 10 amp both under hood and on the left side of the dash. I really appreciate you offering a suggestion Probably burnt wires or an inline fuse. Anyone have a wiring diagram for this outlet?
-
Well I checked several fuses inside and out. Couldn't find a bad one. I didn't look for burnt wires, ran out of time. I've searched the www and many others have this Problem for whatever reason & they didn't get any Answers either. Guess it's not a big deal I rarely use it but it'll Bug me that it don't work. LOL
-
Thanks for the advice. I've been looking around but haven't found it yet. I suppose tomorrow I'll pull all the fuses out one by one or use a test light. Maybe there is an inline fuse... Hmmmmm I would of thought that the cig lighter and the acc outlet would be on the same fuse *shrugs* Cig lighter works....
-
I can't find the fuse if it is a fuse for the accessory plug in. I was putting on my stock wheels & tires for winter and some of them were needing air. I don't have a real air compressor but I have one of them that you plug into your cig lighter. As I was filling the tires up I lost power from the accessory outlet. Cig outlet still works. So I checked a few fuses but couldn't find a blown one. (Didn't check them all). Anyone know where I should be looking? Hep Me Hep Me LOL

Congratulations on your win Yippppppppppppppppppppppppppppieeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your Body Shop experience Mike. I can understand being 1 day maybe 2 days off on the finish date but then to get the quality you did really Blows. (Made in America) Meaning that there are lots of products I purchase at work where I can see the quality has diminished from what we used to get in the past. It's all about the $ I hope you get it all resolved quickly.

If you talking about one like this.. Don't waste your money. They just don't spin fast enough to cut the swirls. Get the PC and the pads mentioned. I found a new PC on Craigslist for like $70.00 then bought the pads and Adams products and it worked wonders. It's a lot of work. There are other products out there that ppl swear by so do some research on the "Detailing Forum" jon1178 posted and make a choice then enjoy your time in the garage

I feel your connection issues. Our daughter bought a STUPID Macbook Pro. I figured out the net connection and file sharing, well from my win7 to hers at least. but for the life of me I can't get her Mac to be able to print from the shared network printer. Now her old win laptop that the wife bought from her connected with no problem, shares, prints, etc.. I'm thinking on just getting another printer for her Mac. Computers are a love hate item. Good luck on getting yours to connect.

Good luck! I've had my wheels for sale for 2 years. Unless your giving them away, forget it!
