ZIPPY IS THE MAN !! allballs57 and fast4popper both have prochargers on their SS's with the trust of Zippy doing the tuning.. but its all about what you like and feel confortable with.. Zip does a great job , he has the backing of the SSPOSSE which consists of several members on our club that have Zippy as our tuner.. http://www.myspace.com/centraliowass is our club site Central Midwest SSPOSSE.. members from Iowa, Illnois, and Nebraska... everyone of us has the Zip doing the masterminding behind the horsepower.. but the choice is yours and you need to research, find whomever makes you confortable, there are several good tuners on here. good luck..
Alright thanks...yeah i'm thinkin about goin with Blackbear and doin the data logging pcm tune cause he says he can dial it exactly to how my truck runs. Im gonna do a little more research but thats what i've got in mind at the moment.

Yeah ive heard good things about them but i'm also looking into Blackbear and wheatley. They sound like they'd all fit the bill.

I was the same way so i went with Corsa Sport Exhaust. Sick sound when you get on it but really quiet going down the road there is no drone what so ever. Its a straight through design so your getting the most power too. Little more money than most but worth every bit.

I'm looking into getting a PCM tune. I love how my truck runs and it shifts pretty good under normal driving and when its to the floor but with a tune can it still be comfortable under both normal and WOT driving. I dont want it to bang into gear when i'm driving easy. Can i get better milage and have more power with a tune of these standards. (Ha i'm kinda a picky person i know) ......There's a lot of knowledgeable people on here so any input on this would be great

Ya magnaflow sounds good. I had it on my last vehicle. 98 2 door tahoe with a vortec 5.7...It has an airier sound compared to my corsa but it just depends on what your preferences is on tone

Oh i follow ya now. I'm pretty sure i'm not still under warranty but i think i may wanna keep my PCm just to have in case something isn't quite right

The AEM is great! We put corsa exhaust and aem on our 06 tahoe too. When the tahoe was stock we drug it with our avalanche and it was a tie the whole way but when we added the combination of AEM and corsa it smoked the avalanche.

Yeah i have Corsa Exhaust and AEM Brute force air intake and want to get a tune to wrap it all up...i saw you wanted to add borla and aem to your truck

When you mail order it do they send you a whole new pcm or do you have to send your old one in....i'm still not exactly sure what it is they do..ha i just found out bout this stuff

i dunno for sure...one guy posted that any customer after january 2008 would have a 40 dollar retune with wheatly...i'm wantin a simple way to get a little extra power and a little better milage and i think a tune is my answer

I am getting 16 to 16.5....and i still actually drive it but i just go easy when no ones around to here my corsa exhaust

Ha i understand. Yeah i'm lookin for a mild tune that gets me a noticeably more punch but still gets me a little more fuel milage. I'm getting 16ish right now

I've heard guys talk about wheatley tuning over hypertech programers. What exactly does the wheatley tune do and will it effect the reliability of my truck. My truck has Corsa sport exhaust and AEM bruteforce cold air intake

I'm fairly sure that the exhaust is stock. They changed the exhaust on all of em in 2007. Nice lookin truck. Welcome to the site.
