What application does this fit? I'm assuming a drag truck with high horsepower? i dunno much bout trannys?
-
Yeah there is a lot of choices out there cause i'm not near as picky as i am for everything else i drive. I'm a corsa and magnaflow fan but those maybe a bit pricey for this truck lol I'm looking for deep low rpm growl

I have an F-350 that i use to do the dirty work out here in the country. It had no muffler but still had the cat when i bought it. I noticed the cat hanging loose dangling by a broken 02 sensor or vaccum hose (i dunno what it is but it runs ok without it lol) The bolts were completely broke so i just hacked off the hose and pulled the cat now i'm running open manifolds on it which sounds kinda cool but its needs some tone to it. What kind of muffler or glass pack do you guys think i should get? Ha cheap is the goal here.

I agree that it had began sliding downhill before osama got in office, BUT when the govt steps in and takes over a large company such as chrysler or GM that isnt right. Ford did it right and fought out the tough shit and didnt accept the govt bail out, and they're still kickin unlike Gm or chrysler.
This whole ordeal is just really F'd up....

Socialism get used to it...All the ignorance in voting for a change with out any knowledge of what that was all about is biting all of us in the ass....Just think he has been in office a little over 3 months and loook at the mess and we still have over 3.5 years of this to go.
and i believe this is true cause i heard this as well. Union takes like 40 percent, stock holders get 10 percent, govt takes the rest. Forming Osama Obama Motors....

Does anyone remember Project Copperhead from the show Trucks on Spike? That may be one of the sickest trucks i have ever seen.

I finally got around to gutting my cats. It took me a little while cause of a few snags due to lack of proper equipment but i got it all finished and couldn't be happier in how it sounds with the corsa sport, it is mean as hell IMO.
Oh and thanks everyone that chimed in on my posts and questions

Thank you and Good luck

Nice kill...wonder what kind of race it would be without a maggie?? Someone on her can prolly tell me this, i know those SRT-8s are quick.

If you are just going to delete the rear 02 sensors then yea, delete the codes (in your tune file), allow the tests however do not let it report an error and be done with it. However, if you happen to hollow out the cats in the same process, you just created a more free-flowing exhaust and changed the scavenging dynamics. I personally delete the COT function in the tune (always have anyway) and redo the Ve table after the gutting process (which "corrects" non Pe fueling by correcting the airmass model to the new flow). Slightly higher peak CylAir is often the case after gutting... I compare previous logs with the "gutted logs" and see if I now operate in a different area in my timing tables. If so, I adjust accordingly. It isn't a huge change by any means however there will be some and I like to zero in my tune as much as possible. I also do a MAF table tuning session (both cruise and Pe) since I have always ran a MAF tune.
Maybe the pro tuners will chime in and offer their thoughts.
Yeah both Zippy and Jenna Bear told me i'd be alright doing my delete a little before my tune but i'm just kinda curious as to why i am able to do this. I like to learn the details behind everything.

PM if u got them Chrome or Black and how much
I've got stainless ones for an extended cab but... i bet you wouldn't be interested in them

Bump...Sound clips anyone?? Does the cat delete make it sound similar to a Corsa system with headers?
-
lol i cant argue with either side...i wanna hear it really bad but i dont want my milage to suffer in the time being..i may try and wait a week or so but thats gonna be hard cause i'm kind of impatient

Its official i'm taking the cats off. I'm getting a tune june 5th. How long can i go without a retune before it starts affecting the air/fuel ratio and makes me run to rich?

Been talkin with Ross and i think i'm gonna try his method out and see what happens if for some reason it isn't what i want then i'll resort back to this topic. Thanks for the help and advise guys

Corsa touring will fit the bill perfect. The touring version is silent at idle but with a perfect tone at WOT. Corsa sport might be a little loud with the headers for it to be a sleeper. Check ebay for cheaper pricing of Corsa exhausts they are a little pricey sometimes but worth it.
here is a link to a Corsa Touring with headers...

I am looking for a tuner for my 2003 silverado ss. I have heard about the Zippy tunes and others who fix the PCMs or something like that. I am looking to buy a new computer that has a tune put into it that matches all of my updates that I have done to my truck. Can someone help me, and point me into the right direction to where to buy one. I would like for someone to call me with some answers please. I will buy a tune as soon as I hear something. My number is 606-276-0182
I've been through this whole question answer deal with a lot of the guys ons here. Black Bear Performance Tuning and Wheatley Tuning are both supporters of this sight and have high recommendations from many here. Click on either of links on the left of the page for contact info. Zippy has high recommendations too. Any will suit your needs and you cant go wrong with any of em.

I'm sick of looking and reading. lol I am wanting a good protectant that has a nice finish. My truck doesn't have much for swirls or scratches, they are very minor. I'm going to do everything by hand not use a DA.
I was considering doing this..
hand wash and dry with MF towels
clay bar it
Zaino AIO
Z5
Z6
Z2
Z6
this looked to get expensive quickly
Any one else have another process that may fit my needs better??? I'm jus fed up with all of the options and what not. Please help and list the steps and products you would recommend

The gov't hasn't taken them over officially yet but with the acceptance of the bail out plan chrysler and gm are both accepting gov't loans. The gov't of coarse has to make sure they know where their money is going and they have to make sure the money is going into the area's that they find suited Thus allowing gov't control inside the corporations. I hope this clears up the confusion.... "Know what i mean, not what i say" lol
I just disagree with the way this is being handled. Not trying to start any arguments here....but just my $.02
