  1. maybe a few performance mods to the dmax will hold you over until the ss is done. whats holding up the ss?
  2. those are bada$$ but a 1000rwhp ss crusing around town or taking it to shows and what not to me would be alot more fun. i could get the same thrill on the dunes with a $10k modded atv. just my opinion. gary
  3. i totally agree. i cant leave anything alone. it doesnt matter if its my daily driver or not. i have to do something to it. the idea of a fast and reliable daily i think is the ultimate goal. enough to get you fix and still make it to work. plus still have a rocket ship to drive on nice days or weekends. i say do it. as long as it doesnt take funds away from the SSS. thats basiclly my plan for my ss. fast and reliable and when i need to go stupid fast i can just hop in my soon to be turbo v8 s10! either way you got 2 great looking trucks. later gary
  4. there is some stuff your body cant produce. no one should rely on supplements completely. they are just that. they supplement your diet. it can be done all natural it just takes a really strict diet.
  5. who would have thought we had so many gym rats on here! good to know we have some veterans when it come to supplements and info. any body try controled labs products? i just started some today so no real data yet.
  6. sweet!! this totally completes my plan for the truck. now just need to come up with the money for some competition grey ones. thanks to all who worked to get this done. gary
  7. what about the edelbrock proflow xt mani? would that be better or worse? i really like the way it looks has anyone tried it yet?
  8. what are the better brands for these??
  9. the only problem with pills is they're not put to use as fast as powders. i just finished N.O.xplode. i liked it in the begining but it faded off pretty fast. should have my White Flood/ Green Mag in a couple days. ive heard good things about it. my buddy just ordered superpump250 so i might try a little of that to see if i like it. what other supplements are you guys taking? i try to keep it pretty simple with whey protein, pre-workout, and post-workout creatine. maybe throw a thermogenic in the mix here shortly. that about it. later gary

    145 Amp

are you sure its the right model for our trucks??
  11. from what ive read. there is 2 types of boxer breeds. american and german i think. one has the narrow build and the other has the stocky pit bull style build. gary
  12. good looking boxer. I got one myself and they do haul a$$!! but mine IS a KU fan!! i dont think its possible for him to run out of steam. he is none stop all the time! gary
  13. yup our hawks went down. i guess they didnt want it bad enough. if i had to pick a team to win ill choose k-state. them boys are playing good this year. gary
  14. how much are we thnking it will cost per tax payer? monthly? yearly? im already paying for social security and medicare that will be gone by the time i could use it. whats next? i might aswell start paying other peoples bills since the goverment assumes i have that much extra money. and to think all of us in the military are defending this?? not sure how i feel about all this. gary
  15. So does this mean your letting the cat out of the bag mike? congrats on the truck. i agree with the other drivetrain in it it will be the perfect combination. later gary
  16. so it sounds like your staying N/A. so i think most would say LT headers, cam, stall with tranny mods or built tranny with that many miles. not meaning in the exact order. but those are always good mods to start with. of coarse you have other supporting mods like efans, bigger ATF cooler, rearend upgrades and so on. IMO i like to do supporting mods first to handle the new additional power so i dont waste money later fixing as much broken stuff. hope this helps. happy modding. gary
  17. i envy all of you that own a house. being active duty military that just isnt a good idea on my part. but with my dad having a body shop/ fiberglass repair we work on many projects a year. currentlly 61 impala bubble top full resto mod, my 91 v8 s10 (4th or 5th time) , wifes 06 supercharged GP( just a few mods), brothers 2000 2wd silverado swapping in full SS frame/drivetrain, along with many small projects for friends and family. does anyone have a spare money tree i can borrow for a while? gary
  18. it seems way to many things from ebay are junk these days. sorry to hear about your bad grilles. i had the same thing happen to me with my s10 trashed a brand new grille shell and billet insert, both were junk. bought a quality after market grille and still havent bought a new insert for it. try to see what brands others on here are using with good results. good luck. gary
  19. wow. cant use the bed now. ugly freakin hood. and who let him put a regular silvy rollpan on it. i wouldnt give him $4500 for it. wow poor SS never stood a chance.
  20. they should index the slot for the bar just a little bit different. the key itself is the same the only difference is the indexing of the slot for the torsion bar. hope this helps. gary
  21. Im still reading but it sounds like either find someone that can reprogram non-lux to lux, or find a lux head unit.
  22. 05 SS with bose and non-lux factory Nav. Can i add the Lux amp. I know the lux nav unit wont work without the lux amp, but not sure about this. i know some of you guys are experts on this stuff. thoughts?? gary
  23. reading this makes me want to start modding my wifes 06 Grand Prix GT. we have had it for almost 3 yrs and ive held off so far. but now you got me thinking about it again. guess a few mods wont hurt right!!! we do need pics when its done. gary
