Ive got a 80mm BBK on mine. Noticed a slight gain on the 4.8 truck i bought it for. Unless you get it for nothing stick with the stock TB or have it port/polished.

I went from a K&N to a GMPP and hands down the GM is better in performance and looks IMO. I had a hesitation off the line and since swapping CAI it is gone. Reguardless of what the test show about it its the only CAI i will have or recomend. 0.02

Leave the INT alone. Porting the TB will show a slight gain and if done right help throttle response some. But dont expect to much as far as the butometer.

Cruise in is the wrong word to describe this. It is a week long event with the biggest crowd being thr,fri,sat. It is called the Spring Grand Rod Run, they also have one in the fall as well as countless other car events through the car show season. The spring event kicks off the car show season for this part of the south. It is very well worth going. I have saw plates from California so its a pretty big and known event. If you plan on going i would start looking and booking a room ASAP. Its impossible to get a good room if you wait to late. Riverside Towers is the best, right on the main strip. After cruzing and walking around you can set out on the balcony drinkin a cold one and watch all the action. Its like taking a trip back in time to the hay day of the muscle car erra. +1. I dont like MOBIL1 ,The trans am i had always used 1-1.5qts between oil changes then i switched to RP, never used another drop. But its like everything else, just cuase some have a bad experience with something doesnt mean that the product is no good. Like said befor its all about personal preference.

Did you run it any before you had the X-pipe installed? If so did you notice any gains with it. Sweet looking setup man.

Forget about the flowmasters and go with a flowmonster or magnaflow. I had two 40's on my truck, loved the sound but bottom end sucked and it sucked the gas no matter how i drove it. Switrched to a DI/DO flowmonster and absolutly love it. Hesitation off the line is gone, with the LT's mpg has went from 13 to 18 depending on how i drive it and the sound is no comparison. It is so much deeper now. I have always had 40's flows but i will never but one on any thing that has a GEN III engine in it. 0.02

Havent been on here in a while due to work and all. One big thing that has happend is that my trans went out the last week in july and stil have not had the time to get it fixed. Gonna try and get it pulled this evening.

Its very easy unless like stated above when you have to park in between vehicles.
