You already have a lot of mods and your truck looks great, a Jackshaft would be the icing on the cake...DO IT!! -

It also depends on how much $ you have to spend. The 2300 Jackshaft is $7,500.00, the regular 2300 is $6.600.00 and the 1900 is $5,900.00...not sure about the other models. The advantage of the jackshaft 2300 over the other models is the pulley system. It has the potential of 20+ psi depending on the pulley set up you choose. Sounds to me like the 1900 would work great for you. Also, you should consider either a trans upgrade or 80e swap IMO

Sorry, I just now saw your ?, but we already talked about it on your thread the other day...JACKSHAFT 2300 YEAH BUDDY!! -
Yes, that's the GM part # for the front drive shaft. The wiring harness and crossmember I got from PATC and the cooler lines from GM lol, tell me about it! Once you get involved in buying everything it adds up fast. You can go with a less expensive 80e and converter...that would save you quite a bit.

Thanks, as soon as I get my trans and shaft I'll start posting lots of pics on my build thread! I did get the HP tuning software today so I don't have to ship my PCM back n fourth to Zippy. I should hopefully be getting my 80 tune from him shortly! Keep up the good work on your truck...looks awesome!

Sweet! My motor's totally stock except for headers, exhaust, plugs & wires. The first part of my build is the 80e swap which should be hopefully this weekend or next...I'm just waiting on the input shaft from Time2kill and the trans from FLT - I have everything else. Then I'm adding the black blower - I'm just going to start out with the pulleys that come with the blower kit to see what this baby can do, plus since I don't have a cam, springs, rods, etc., so I don't want to blow a head gasket or worse right off the bat, AND I'll be out of $ for a while! I'm looking at probably toward the middle to end of summer before I start doing a cam and engine work, then I'll be looking to add more boost from there. Do you have a built trans or 80 in yours yet?

I hadn't even considered buying a used one. I want mine brand new from Magnuson. I know it's more money, but I'm weird like that

Hell yeah, N/A's no fun! The TVS 2300 Jackshaft's the way to go for sure...lots of room to grow as the need for speed grows!

lol, yeah, yeah, yeah...I couldn't restrain myself

I Just bought some from ebay for my shaved gate, set me back 75 bones

I just ordered the HP tuning software and will be receiving it tomorrow. From my understanding, it takes like two credits to tune one vehicle and you can make as many changes as you like. So I'm pretty sure you can tune like 4 gm vehicles with the 8 credits
