Thanks Johnny! I so wish I could have gotten a shot of the dude's face. We both looked over as I was overtaking him and he had this priceless look of disbelief on his face I had just finished installing the new exhaust too. I absolutely love it. Sounds really deep but much quieter and you can really hear the Maggie...I'm super stoked

Short vid of some RB in a Porsche Cayenne who thought his ride was faster than mine

Since I have straight through mid-pipes with no cats, no muffler shop will work on my truck, so my only option was to go with the 2.5" DIY kit. Trust me Jason, I tried and tried to figure out a way to run an all stainless true dual 3" system, but just wasn't in the cards for me. Theoretically, this one has to flow better than my Corsa Sport since it's dual 2.5's in and single 3" out. Plus the Corsa just didn't sound good anymore with all the boost I'm running now.

Thanks John! Yeah, I'm really impressed with the quality...very well built and shiny! I'm just hoping it sounds as good as it looks

What to do when the 'ol lady says, "No more parts for the SS"??? Kicker to the curb and buy more parts!
-
I bought an HD drive cam at COSTO last week and mounted it to the SS's front windshield for continuous vids, but now I can't find anyone who wants to race me in a 45mph zone Bro, I'm getting close: hood, tailgate, Corsa Exhaust, Stock exhaust, pulleys out the ying yang, stock injectors, marine injectors, stock rims and wheels, almost new 90mm TB...the list goes on and on, lol Let's not forget about my 2 spare 4L80e's too, hehe Hopefully so, but the 2.8's not going on unless I'm really close
-
lol, believe it or not, that's a back scratcher my Daughter got me - works awesome...use it all the time! Yeah, for sure on the parts. I actually need to post up some or all of my misc. parts off the SS - got a little bit of everything, hehe

Just a little sumpin sumpin in case I get close to 10's this fall

I would recommend some powder Oxy-Clean mixed with hot water to take that big stain out and you don't even have to scrub on it! Take like 1/2 scoop, mix with hot water in a squirt bottle and squirt it on the stain generously - should dissolve the stain completely. I think Walmart carries it. Nice project, going to be a little work but I'm sure it'll look great when you're done.

4k's nothing to sneeze @...that's 1.89 posts per day and a hell of a lot of posts! Congrats Johnny!

Will do Johnny! I'm going for sure, just not sure exactly what day yet - depends on when I can get the SS all detailed up nicey nice like I'll be sure to post up some pics of the event -
God bless all who were lost and their families. It's hard to believe it's been so long ago. Very strange how I can remember exactly what I was doing when I heard the news - I was driving down 119th street and heard it on the radio

Today, tomorrow and Sunday - Sept. 11, 12 &13 is the, "All truck Nationals" in Kansas City @ Riverside Park, Riverside, MO. Here's the info: http://alltrucknats.com/ Anyone going??
-
Sounds like a good time poopnewton! I'd be very curious to see how fast you run. Good luck!
-
Yes, and mine is totally stock Last fall mine weighed in at 5650 without me in it at Heartland Park. I'm 6'2" 250 now but last fall I was more like 265. So like I said, pretty close to 6k In case you missed it, I have a Speedstur Tonneau, Maggie, 80e, 22" intros, the big Wilwoods, etc., etc, etc. - I certainly haven't done anything to lighten the truck
-
Yeah, no doubt the hellcat is fast for an all stock car. As stated, I didn't get a great look at the emblems, but I do know it was at least a 2015 model and maybe even the '16 (not sure if they're even out yet), but it was brand spankin new for sure. Here's one running an 11.91 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4RLjwIZum4 I haven't updated the stats on my sig., but they're from last fall on pump gas and only 11 psi. Since then, I've upgraded the fuel system, running e85 and pushin around 15psi. I'll be updating everything this fall once I'm able to hit the track again. All I know for sure is it was a fun race and an awesome adrenaline rush!

Haha, I hope you're right Jason! It would hopefully be a beatin worse that this... http://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/videos/a24794/video-tesla-destroys-challenger-hellcat-sets-drag-strip-world-record/ I'm not certain this wasn't the hellcat to be honest. It happened so fast I really didn't get a great look at the emblems on the car. If the sissy wouldn't have turned off before the next red light, I would have filmed it with my phone and knew for sure. I do know it had the spoiler in the back, had a temp tag and was silver with the black racing stripes. Honestly, it was a descent race from a roll...it's not like I totally wiped the floor with him.

Lol, thank John, I bet you're correct there!
-
I'm pretty sure he had the 6.4L motor which weigh in around 4000 lbs - mine is around 6000 lbs, so more than a few hundred lbs difference, but probably not the hellcat. I would have really destroyed him if he only had the 370hp model. I say this based on the research I did on the 6.4L which is 4.1 0-60, and 12.3 1/4 mile. Mine is 3.8 0-60 and somewhere in the mid to high 11's right now. After my heads go on this month, the hellcat would be a really good race I think!
-
Thanks Muggs! I wish I had my gopro mounted up - gotta start using that baby more. I'm sure I surprised the hell outta that guy, lol

Cruisin down 135th Street, I pull up along side a brand new Challenger R/T, I slow down to match his speed (around a 40 roll), we both look over at each other at the same time, I see him stomp on it, so I stomp on it - he's got about a 1/4 car on me because he stomped first. However, I easily and steadily overtook him until I had at least a full two cars on him before I let off. ...Awesome adrenaline rush - I needed that, it's been a while, lol Then, of course, he slams on his brakes and turns off just before we're coming up to another red light...why do people do that???
-
Thanks man! Bro, I'm there! That would be one hell of a haul from Kansas City
-
Looks like a contender for the most badass lookin Denali on the east coast to me! Must be nice to b a RB!$!$
