    Do you have the digital climate control or the normal one with the manual levers? If you have the Digital climate control it could be either the actual climate control panel itself or the temperature sensor in the headliner above your head. If you have the manual control than its most likely the unit itself. Im am unsure of how to test to see if its the sensor or the control unit if you have the Digital climate control.

     

     

    It's the digital one. I unplugged the thing above my head (it was whining alot, was told its the on star speaker) since then it blows cold. I plugged it back in and it's still cold now. Is that a temperature sensor as well? All info appreciated

    I started my SS the other day and when I was driving it, it was blowing ice cold air with the a/c on on every fan setting, floor face or defroster as long as it was on 89 degrees or colder. If you switched it to 90 it when then blow very hot air. Any suggstions on this dual climate control issue? I was thinking maybe some sort of hvac return or a temperature switch? I researched this problem and it seems to happen to certain gm models from 03-06 but there was never an answer to the forums I have searched. All info appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    BEFORE READING I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMMACULATE THIS TRUCK IS. PICTURES DO NOT DO IT ANY JUSTICE. MY CAMERA IS VERY OLD. MUST SEE TO APPRECIATE. TRUCK RUNS PERFECTLY AND IS EXTREMELY RELIABLE.

     

    -2003 chevy silverado (over 45,000 msrp new)

    -60,456 miles (can vary as its my daily driver)

    -6.0 vortec engine which with mods is roughly 410 hp

    -- AWD (not 2x4 4x4 or whatever else this is full time awd get the best traction always, perfect in snow)

    -automatic transmission

    -ice cold a/c (recharged about a year ago with synthetic 134a)

    -dual climate control

    -with current mods gets about 18 highway and 16 city

    -towing package (never used to tow but very great to have due to the option and the transmission cooler which will reduce transmission temperatures EVERY TIME YOU DRIVE IT resulting in much better transmission life and less stress on it)

    -leather interior (cleaned and condition on monthly basis)

    i feel like i am still leaving alot of stuff out. when i first bought this the only thing i did was mod it the way i wanted cause i thought i was going to keep it forever. you will not find a better maintained or cared for truck. although this truck has been 110% maintained it has also been babied since ownership because thats how i treat all my vehicles. this truck is extremely reliable will never leave you stranded, and runs and shifts like a dream. always changed oil every 3,000 miles with nothing but full synthetic. one drive with this truck and you will understand how great it runs and how fun it is to drive. extremely peppy with all current mods.

     

     

    i will even include the black fiberglass locking cap (1500) if you buy it for asking price WITH THE CAPRAC LADDER RACK SYSTEM (400)

     

    i hate to see it go but i could use the money with the house and all. However i dont NEED to sell it so dont waste my time trying to lowball me. i could just keep the truck for another 10 years and be happy as hell with it. these go all the time for 19,000 for a BONE STOCK ONE WITH OVER 80,000 MILES. if you buy from a dealer you dont even know who had it before you and it could have been some punk beating on it everyday. this truck is adult owned and meticulously maintained. i will try and get pics up asap. it is black with dark grey leather interior, black rims with aluminum lips and tinted windows
