  1. What mods are done to the truck? What is the power level?

     

     

    mods are.. obx long tube headers, no cats, magnaflow dual exhaust, s and b cold air intake, throttle body spacer, ported and polished throttle body, msd 8.8 ignition wires, zex spark plugs, wheatley performance tune, 2800 stall torque converter, beast sunshell, transgo hd2-c shift kit, forward pinless acc piston, and vette 2nd gear servo

     

    truck is 03 silverado ss awd 4.10 gears

     

    was wondering if i should do anything else tranny wise? i was looking at the clutch pack kit that had the bands and the kolene steels in it. please let me know what the best thing i should do is of if its not worth the labor or parts for current mods. truck only has 50,000 on it so i wasnt looking for a complete overhaul but if i do something once i like to do it right...

     

    this is my daily driver i want the most bang for the buck but i need it to stay reliable.

  2. i am having my buddy throw a torque converter in my truck and shift kit. while its out he is putting in the beast sunshell, 2nd gear vette servo and forward pinless acc. piston. is there anything else i should do while its out? i was thinking of doing the clutch packs is this worthwhile and what is the best brand to go with and where is it the cheapest??? is it a very hard project? also should i do the reverse acc piston also or anything else while its out. im not looking to break the bank but id like to do it right while its out. please list anything else that should be done that will help it hold up. also refilling fluid with the bg synthetic. was told it was the best fluid i could get for the tranny. all info is appreciated. please include price range and where i can buy parts if anything else is needed? also for the clutch packs is the red alto ones best or the zpacks? thank you in advance. also tranny only has 50,000 on it.

  3. what exactly does a catch can do? will it help with performance or just help protect the engine? how hard is the install and how long would it take? does it take up alot of room in the engine bay? is this only good for n/a or is it good for if you go supercharged down the road???

  4. for sale direct transmissions custom torque converter. can hold up to 500 hp. 2500-2800 stall 10" diameter. lighter than stock for less parasitic loss. needed to be custom built to reach this stall. great for daily driver while retaining towing capabilities. biggest stall without having to upgrade the tranny cooler. paid 350 plus shipping ($30) this is the same company that makes edge torque converters. you just don't pay the $600 for the name.

  5. For sale brand new in box motoblue 25% overdrive pulley and 32% overdrive alternator pulley. these are mint condition never installed. I decided i should get ahead on my mortgage for now instead of modding the truck. The crank pulley goes for 250 plus shipping brand new and the alternator pulley goes for 40 plus shipping. I was told with this combo you do not have to change your belt size due to the change in sizes using BOTH pulleys. i will let this go for 220 plus shipping. i will try and post pics tomorrow. These pulleys will increase mpg by reducing drag and also increase hp and torque greatly due to the slowing down of all the overdriven accessories (these trucks have alot of them) but keep your alternator fully charged all the time for the guys with the systems or bose or anything else that would keep you from normally using underdrive pulleys.

  6. i am tossing around the idea of going supercharged. i found a good deal on the radix magna charger 112 (4,250) i think thats a good deal). now i was wondering if this is a direct bolt on or not. i know it pretty much is but i mean like how many things am i going to have to upgrade to keep this reliable (tranny, rear end, etc?) its my daily driver and i dont beat on it but i feel like itd be nice to have this thing blown. please let me know what would be needed. im not looking to drop alot of money if it is a true bolt on i will probably do it. also i was going to put an underdrive pulley on it and a overdrive alternator pulley but i probably shouldnt now due to cooling problems with the charger right? please give me some insight with pro s and cons of going blown. thanks in advance.

    It comes with a full 1 YEAR WARRANTY from the seller direct transmissions. this one costed more because it was a special order. they only make 2300-2500 and 2800-3200 they had to take apart and custome make for this stall range. i paid 345 plus shipping brand new i can show you the receipt. this thing is mint. why drop 1000 on a converter if you are not supercharged or turbocharged? you are wasting your money. also with this stall you can still tow so you can use your truck like a real truck.i am lacking money right now and need to hold off on this project for awhile. i will sell it for 285 SHIPPED. my loss is your gain. if you want also i will include a tci .490 boost valve for another 25 if you pay asking price for converter. thanks otherwise i will sell the valve for 35 SHIPPED.

    these go for anywhere between 900-1100 new. like i said they are mint. i will let these go for $625, shipping will be on whoever or if you are relatively close to middletown ny 10940 we can will make arrangements to meet up half way. i will be going down to jersey city to put the new rims on so if anyone lives close to there that will be even better for you jersey guys. pm me or hit me up on this.

  9. I am looking for a set of 4 20" Silverado SS rims for our Tahoe. I would prefer them to include tires but if the price is right without will do. They don't have to be in perfect condition as long as theres not chunks taken out, I am planning on getting them powder coated eventually. PM me what you've got!
