  1. i just use some purple power knock off brand glass cleaner on my rims then go over them with mother's polish...simple, cheap, and works just as good as anything else i've tried.
  2. i vote single in dual out run out the side...
  3. go get your tires rotated and balanced first and see if that fixes the problem.
  4. looks awesome chase! keep us updated on the build! makes me want to get a dmax...
  5. i'm running the pacesetters on my truck and i didn't have any fitting problems...everything worked out great and it was an easy install. i'm in college too so i know money can be tight...the pacesetters are easy on the wallet. i got mine new shipped for $307. EDIT: i did a write up a little while ago on the pacesetter install...check in the how to section for the thread. there might be a little difference since youre awd...but everything else should be the same who do you play ball for?
  6. if you're wanting selectable 4wd and not awd, then you could look into getting a vmax (still has the lq9). if that's no big deal, def go with the sss. obs vmax trucks are harder to find anyways.
  7. this was back in the fall with cool temps and low humidity. drove 65 the whole time on the interstate without stopping for around 2 and a half hours. i couldn't believe it. a few bolt ons and a good tune can go a long way
  8. damn, it would have to be in tennessee too haha rockslide: 1 bumpkin: 0
  9. welcome my buddy was going to throw a lq9 into his '82 monte but ended up getting a steal on a ls1...he's in the process of doing the swap now can't wait to see some pics of this one
  10. no problem. no problems on the way to the exhaust shop. i did throw some codes though...said it was running lean...but after i got everything welded up and all the leaks fixed they went away and everything worked well. just don't raise hell on the way to the exhaust shop...if anything, you're liable to make people's ears bleed i reused the stock gaskets and haven't had any leaks, but like zach said, can't hurt to get some new ones, esp at that low of a price. definitely a great mod...gained power and sounds great. adding headers has been my favorite mod so far besides the tune.
  11. i'm in east tennessee and we have had snow just about every week for the past 2 months this winter. after driving on the heavily salted roads for 2 months, i almost expected to see a little rust on the headers. i got up under the truck to change the oil last weekend and checked everything out. the headers are still completely rust free all around. just take your time when you paint them and you should be good to go
  12. here is an almost new garmin nuvi 1300 gps. i got it at christmas and only used it once for about half an hour then put it back in the box. don't really need it so i figured i'd see if anybody else could use it. here is a link to garmin's website with info about the 1300. i still have everything it came with, even the directions. how's $115 shipped. EDIT: i've got some gm chrome running boards that came on my truck from the dealer...listed them before but they didn't sell...open to offers...
  13. pacesetter lts cheap and easy
