All Silverado SS's came with the LQ9, iron block, aluminum headed engine.

If its the welded series they sound like a flowmaster 40 series, I have two on my 57 Chevy and they work good. Like Jason said above there are better mufflers for pretty cheap that sound great. I know you can get a dual in dual out magnaflow for pretty cheap if you look around online.

Seems like an okay deal as long as its mechanically sound and the body and interior are nice. Also I'm sure they would be open to offers being that its a salvage title. Looks like it books for around 15k or more depending on options, so it might be priced somewhat right.

I would assume the new x-link should fix all of your issues along with the new throttle body. Good luck!

Ya sounds like its coming from the coolant cross over tube, or the hose that connects to the bottom of the throttle body. Should be a easy fix, just pin point where its leaking from and either replace the coolant hose to the throttle body or replace the gaskets for the crossover tube.

Glad to hear you got it back! Is it still fully modded or did you de-mod it before you traded it in?

It handles great in the snow/ice with the studded tires I'm running. I drive it year round and it always does great.

I personally like the original Onyx Black 8555 but in the end its up to you! The subaru black is a really cool color as well.

Sounds like the way your doing your buffing works great, just never have done it that way. I've always used a bench buffing setup with a course and finishing polish pads and compounds. If there is no easy or safe way to remove the powder coating off that blower I wouldn't mess with polishing it. Might be to hard to get polished up... Although if the finish does easily strip right off then it might not be to bad to polish. That would be a bad time if blast media or stripper went inside the blower

Good info on the pump, now I understand that head exchanger is massive! I'm always a fan of polished stuff, how are you going about polishing your various pieces? Bench buffer or are you doing it by hand? Also that blower would look awesome polished surrounded by the arrival blue truck.

Yeah I hope so too, he did respond back shortly after I bought them and said he would be shipping them out the coming week. I'm going to give them some more time to arrive but if they don't show up by the end of this week or early next week I'll open up a ebay case. Overall I'm not to worried about it.

Looks like some nice stuff! Never heard of that I/C pump before, does it offer any benefits to the older MP122 setups like what I have? I assume more flow=cooler temps?

I bought a set from the guy on ebay, still waiting to receive them, ordered March 8th. No word yet on tracking info or anything but I assume that he shipped them, as 4 other sets sold off the same auction. He may repost another auction of them.
