  1. No kidding? I thought it was a very tedious process. I'm totally down!! I wanna hide all the wiring, and take the time to polish and paint everything when I redo the top end. I want my shit to look as nice as yours. Lol.

It is a bit tedious but much easier to do on a truck like the SS than trying to build a Gen III truck harness into one that will fit in a 57 Chevy haha.

  2. That sucks! Now your going to be really busy with two of us there trying to do this! Hopefully I have my truck back together for this trip.

Haha, you never know it might be possible. To clean up the stock harness isn't to bad unless you want the wires cut and extended or altered in some way like I do with the LS swaps that I have done.

  3. Looks bad ass Brandon. I love your license Plate.... sooo damn true lol.

Let me know when this cruise or whatever is happening, if im not working, id like to meet up with you guys aswell.

I'll let you guys know when the Kool Cruise is this year, I will be driving one of my hot rods most likely. I don't think they have posted up a calendar of events yet but it's usually in May.

  4. Thanks man! Im shooting to have my truck together and cleaned up by the Cool Cruise. Justin and I will be coming down to hangout. Should be a good time. Not sure if ill have my 80e by then or not. Sure would be nice to get some track times though!

Sounds like a plan, that will be a fun time!

  5. No those fans look to be from an Impala from a quick search. You want the 05-06 factory truck style fans. The TYC number for the correct ones is 622230. Looks like they are $164 on Amazon, although check Car-part.com in your local area for 05-06 Silverado 1500's with Fans might be a better deal to get some used ones.

  6. The SS is my daily driver, although I try and treat it like its not lol. My other cars are a 1957 Bel Air which I did a frame off restoration on and a 1969 C10. Both are just weekend cruisers during the summer and are stored during the winter, they are also both LS powered. The SS works good as a daily because it gets around great in slippery conditions and is fun to drive or at least I think it is.

  7. Yeah it's gonna be a nice weekend though. 15 above or so. I rode my sled (snowmobile for all you lower 48 guys) all day Wednesday. Lol. I buried it a time or two. Gonna go snowboarding too this weekend if it stays warm.

That SS is just the cutouts from the door sill buy a few months back. Lol! Just stuck em on. Looks pretty good when it's all cleaned up.

It'll be for sale in a few weeks or so if you want a decked out mp112

Lol! No kidding. I'm not missing that AC belt one bit...

It's kinda funny, but remember that thread where a certain member from Massachusetts was saying he lives in the hardest state to live in?... Lol. Come up here for one winter and see how nice Massachusetts is. Hahaha. Yeah. I worked real hard on that custom delete kit.

We've had our fair share of storms. That's for sure. I think I'm ready for a little vacation weekend trip to anchorage. I'll shoot you a text if I'm in the neighborhood next weekend.

    Sounds good to me!

  8. Does it matter what 80E I go with? As long as is 4wd right? Would a '98 work as well as a '06?

I'll keep doing some research and post my findings here. Maybe I'll stumble upon a good write up to share.

Looks like post number #15 asked that question and chpspecial answered in post #16. Sounds like a 98 would work but requires some transmission cooler line mods from what he said.
