  1. Been watching Barrettt Jackson the last couple days. I really liked this one. 70K was probably a pretty good deal. https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1953-CHEVROLET-210-CUSTOM-COUPE-202210
  2. I hadn't heard of a relearn for the climate control before. I did a google on it and found some info. Thanks for the heads up. (A lot of these hits mention dealer and tech II) Good luck. http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/diy-tech-discussion/9854-fixed-dual-climate-control.html http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/146892-reprogramming-climate-control-after-dead-battery/ Here's my google if you want to read some more. https://www.google.com/search?q=climate+control+relearn+for+2003+Chevrolet+Silverado+%2F+digital+controls&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
  3. It would take some real imagination to make that era interior look decent. I always thought that they looked like someone worked mighty hard to make them as fugly as they turned out.
  4. Welcome aboard. Congrats on getting your truck. The black ones are the fastest. What color is yours?
  5. I'll check it out. I always look forward to seeing some Barrett Jackson.
  6. I'm considering taking out a second mortgage and just buying you out of everything. But, I don't know if that would get me enough $$$.
  7. When I replaced my solid lines with stainless steel I used the "Gravel road ABS bleed" trick. Worked pretty good. Run your truck down a dirt or gravel road at 25 to 30 MPH and do 4 or 5 hard brake stops, (Or at least slow downs). You want the ABS system to engage, then re-bleed the system. It worked very good on my 03. If further bleeding doesn't resolve your problem; Check the master cyl.
  8. I wondered about that too but I've never seen any kind of fitting to go from banjo to pipe or compression. The banjo bolt is so long I figure that it would get clunky in a hurry. Coarse I could be wrong.
  9. Welcome to the site bud. Search is your friend although google with SilveradoSS.com in your search will work better than the site search. Here's some reading for you. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/forum/11-engine-tech-and-modification/
  10. I used a fair number of energy susp bushings and body mounts on my 86 Sierra 4X4. I like their stuff a lot. Firm and positive, especially over old worn rubber. The leaf spring kit is prob a lot more money than OEM replacements. The bushings on my 03 are still in decent shape so you gotta figure new OEM would last pretty well for another ten years or so. On the other hand; If your looking for Project........ The red stuff looks cool too.
  11. Welcome to the site. Congrats on finding your truck.
  12. My poor attempt at a joke. I realize that they are your product.
  13. You have a Shopman Bowtie? How'd you manage that? Low mileage truck, should go quick. GLWS
  14. Your kit. I haven't thought seriously about selling the truck yet.
  15. I was afraid you were gonna say that. Good luck with your sale. I'm thinking about it.
  16. Why are you giving up on the project? Good looking parts. Is it Richards, (Atomic)'s kit?
  17. Welcome to the site Frank. There have been some great clone build write-ups on the site. I did a quick google to get you started. https://www.google.com/search?q=SS+clone+threads+%2F+Silveradoss.com&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 Keep us updated on your progress.
  18. Thanks Muggs. Hope it's been a great one for you and everyone else round here.
  19. It will draw you back in after a while. Merry Christmas.
