  1. Lowball them. They have to know that they are high on the asking price. "Aggressive pricing" indeed. Tough to get a 25K loan on a eleven year old truck.
  2. I've not heard of a "kit" but all the parts should be available individually from any decent parts store. Good idea to go with Moog by the way.
  3. Great point Richard makes. I also thought about whether or not the bolts you got have a shoulder on them where they go through the shock bushing. (I wouldn't want threads on rubber there.) No prob if you have a metal sleeve going through the bushing.
  4. 18 Months ought to go by pretty quick Rob. Enjoy the retirement.
  5. Congratulations on your retirement. Hold out for top dollar. I'm over on the coast of NC. Lookout lighthouse is nearly in sight of my door. I'm nearing retirement too but looking to buy more toys.
  6. I think Matt is right on it. Time is leaving our trucks in the dust and has them looking low tech.
  7. 13K miles. WOW. If I didn't absolutely have to sell it, I wouldn't. You have to be looking at losing $15 K or so, (I am guessing to some extent). I hope that I'm wrong but I don't see getting more than 25 for it. These trucks are niche vehicles. A few of us love them but they are old tech. A new truck will give you more performance, better fuel economy, and higher level of tech in the peripherals. If I had the room to store it, I would, and keep it. Pass it on to your kids. Eventually the value will climb as a limited production vehicle. Live long enough to see it on a Barrett Jackson stage.
  8. Welcome to the site. Congrats on finding your truck. I still grin every time I look at mine.
  9. Summit days these are the ones. https://www.summitracing.com/search/brand/arp/department/exhaust/part-type/header-fasteners/make/chevrolet/engine-size/6-0l-364/engine-family/chevy-small-block-gen-iii-iv-ls-based-engines?N=400295%2B4294948820%2B4294909425 $350.00 sounds OK if you get some sort of guarantee that it works or you seen it operate properly.
  10. Probably so Trav. He edited the original post to say "Sold".
  11. There ya go Bill. That's some good info right there. Way to go Ebe.
  12. I thought rats more likely than squirrels but maybe Bill saw the squirrels.
  13. You have my condolences Bill. That's got to be discouraging, especially considering the low mileage on your truck. I went and looked at my truck to see what your up against. Not a lot of room to work on wiring back there. You can open up the loom and repair all the wires you can see are damaged. Could be your best bet will be to go talk to the parts people at the busiest dealership you can find. (They will have the most experienced parts man). Most everything will be view-able on computer. (Give them your VIN and they will have info for your specific truck.) You may be able to get an idea as to what all the damaged harness attaches to and where it runs from the pictures as well. I did a google and came up with quite a few images of wiring schematics for the 03 but it could take a lot of looking to find the exact harness section your looking for. https://www.google.com/search?q=wiring+schematic+2003+Chevy+Silverado+Super+Sport&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 Best luck and keep us posted.
  14. I didn't even notice that you tried to post a video. I was commenting on the time slip. Looking forward to the video though.
  15. Gotcha That looks like fun, for sure. Congratulations.
  16. Congratulations. Have you changed anything on the truck?
  17. Now we know what you've been up to lately. Sad you couldn't get your truck back but it looks like you been having plenty of wrenching fun with the car. I'm in for updates.
  18. Thank you sir! I really don't think it would have. We would have been doing a pallet LTL shipment lol. I think your headers are supposed to arrive today btw! Headers are here. Sorry I am late in updating you. Been a busy afternoon. Haven't opened them, yet but the box is in perfect shape. I think all is good.
  19. Hey Muggs good to see your still around.
  20. 1Bad is a first class guy and seller. Buy with confidence. Zippy says that the touring version is the Corsa for our trucks. Corsa quit making them years ago so someone is going to get lucky. I don't think that I knew your Corsa was the Touring version or I'd have bugged you to ship it with the headers.
