  1. my new valve covers and ls6 coils with powdercoated brackets
  2. Im thinking about gettin some harland sharp 1.8 rockers has any one paired these with a stock cam if so what were the gains on n/a and supercharged??
  3. hmmm well i hope the diagnosis is good but it doesnt sound like its going to be sounds like the rings were starting to let boost by and that was the cause of all the oil on your firewall keep us posted on the out come!
  4. ive heard rumors that if that starts to happen means something wrong with you motor possibly rings not saying thats the case but in alot of race engine this happens and the boost gets into the crank case and blows oil out if you cant find an answer after a while try doing a compression test
  5. because the bump stops are designed to be part of your suspension as the progressive part of bound as in bound and rebound i cut some nubs off already and it rides like sh*t with 24s so these are supposedly designed for larger wheels so i figured why not give it a try
  6. Well i just ordered a jounce bump stop kit that is designed supposedly for truck with wheels 20'' and larger has any one seen these before or even used them here is the part #12499481 for any one else looking got mine for 40$ on ebay
  7. the vented cap may work just fine for a n/a motor but im going a different route with my magnacharged setup my system will include three pcv valves one on each valve cover and im having a new intake tube made that will hold the third that way the air can only flow one direction to the can and there will be no unmetered air will post some pics when im done sorry guys something so simple is turning into rocket science lol
  8. Im not 100% positive that it is a good to put a breather on a MAF controlled vehicle the reason is that is air that is going into your engine that isnt going through your MAF therefore unmetered air can throw your A/F ratios off i think that a line still has to go to the intake tube there fore any air sucked into the intake through the pcv valves is still accounted for feel free to chime in lol
  9. thanks for the part number also Ben got mine yesterday was 37$ at the dealer
  10. a diagram i found that shows that i might want to add a vent to go along with my setup
  11. i have mine in pieces right now will post pics when i get it back together and remember mine wont be exactly the same as some peoples i have custom valve covers and i have a pcv valve in each valve cover the passenger side line goes over to the driver side and is t'd there then it goes to the catch can and then back to the port on my supercharger but it is basically the same idea for any car n/a or FI
  12. yes thats exactly how i run mine
  13. yes either option will work either vent the cap or connect both lines to your catch can i like the catch can because it uses the motors suction to help vent the crank case and its not as messy but strictly your choice both will work fine
  14. You dont need two catch cans just need to tie it into the same catch can and cap the vac line on the TB ive got new valve covers and i drilled both for pcv valves and they are plumbed into one can and then to the back of my supercharger and i have my line off the TB plugged doesnt make it run any different and is a way better set up my .02
  15. im currently running doug thorley tri y's and i love them major difference from stock manifolds the finish on them is really good mine are ceramic coated and the finish was generously applied and doesnt come off tried to scratch a small spot didnt do any thing and as far as fitment they went right in and bolted right up i think these should be added as one of the top list
  16. It sounds so F%#@in good we used really thick piping dam near 3/16 thick so there is no echo in the pipes so for the most part the exhaust is really quiet can barely hear it in the cab the blower is louder than the exhaust but holy shit does it pull hard and so smooth the coating on the headers looked really good to me was on there really well o love the headers Im working on getting a vid gotta find some one to help
  17. The flange works perfectly and was my request for him to put it there the nuts are welded to one side of the flange so all you have to remove is the bolts and the flange is 3/8 thick stainless both pieces so 3/4 total and has zero leaks and should make swapping my tranny a breeze when it comes time! thanks for the interest guys
  18. its not its just a mile long some thing the previous owner put in that will be getting changed soon
  19. And i know you guys are gonna ask the headers fit perfect absolutely zero issues with them and it was actually a dramatic difference from stock manifolds
  20. Heres some pics of my new exhaust setup its Thorley tri y headers with high flow cats into an x pipe then to two polished magnaflows then dumps under my running board. Any body looking in the orlando area for some one whos willing to do an exhaust setup exactly the way you want it should give Anthony a call at racing concepts 352 516 1149 he does great work and is every bit of a perfectionist as myself/any of us well let me know what you guys think!
  21. Looks like some one got his engine cover wish it was me!!!
