Well i just recently got a good deal on a 39 led corvette c6 spoiler and im going to modify it to be my third brake light and wanted to see what you guys think of the idea as of right now my truck has a lead 3rd brake light on it that is about 12'' long and the ne one will be about 24" here pics of the spoiler

if you end up doing a x pipe and dual mufflers im assuming your gonna get rid of the muffler you have? if you do try and get 14'' bodied mufflers thats what i have and as stated i can barely hear the exhaust in my truck but if i roll down my window you can lol i have bluetooth ran through my stereo and no one can ever hear my exhaust they can only hear the supercharger whining if you go this route you will not be dissapointed adding an x pipe gives your truck a smoother more tuned exhaust note similar to a vette or something not as much like a truck you will love it keep us updated on your choice

ive read alot of the stuff over there and really dont find it that helpful havent seen any one modify a stock harness to work and havent seen any one use stock transmission and that site has so many people chiming in that it gets confusing lol

i guess my questions are can i use the stock 4l60 that came with the truck? do i need to swap converters? can i adapt the lq9 harness and ecu to run stock gauges? what are the best motor mounts?header options? does any one have wiring diagrams for obs and nbs? stuff like this would be helpful

In a few weeks i will be installing a lq9 into my brothers 98 tahoe and was wondering if any one here has done the swap or if you guys know of any links that would help because right now im not finding anything

i have an x pipe and dual magnaflows and can barely here the exhaust inside my truck and the tips dump right in front of the rear wheel i think you benefit greatly by adding x pipe and another muffler

ill be using one out of a c5 vette and one cool thing about these is that the display is adjustable by button you can raise or lower where the info is displayed on the windshield and the c5 vette hud's have a gmeter built in im still not 100% if im going to install it or not depends on what things look like when the hud arrives if i dont put it in my tahoe i will install it in my bagged and body dropped s10 which some time this year will also be recieving my magnacharged 5.3 and im going to buy a tvs 2300 and build a 427 for the hoe

good info on there but people on here shouldnt get confused when they start talking about the push rod lengths as long as any one with a silverado gets the hydro boost that came on 4wd tahoe or yukon ,denali,2500hd or escalades then you will be fine its just less confusing to get the escalade one 2002 and up there all the same and get the lines for the same vehicle and brake pedal for same vehicle and (power steering pump optional) and your done!!!!

i want to get the parts before i make the decision parts will be here next week lets put it this way im not scared to try it lol

i searched high and low for these when i did mine was even going to get them custom made using stainless braided line autozone is hands down the cheapest place to get them and the stainless ones arent a good idea for many reasons

you need to atleast make it where you cant see the tubes cause that is the difference in doing a shitty job and doing a good job take the grille off and put the tube along the back of the bowtie where they glow in side but cant see the tubes

IMO neon light make vehicles look ghetto and cheap but if you like them then thats all that matters

thats all you need there is nothing different about the pumps just one has 2 return lines instead of 1 they dont pump any more or any less
