  3. Pleople who think there time is so much more valualbe and cut into the onramp lane after you have been waiting patiently for 20 minutes to get on the freeway....AHHHH! I want to ram my Chevy up their a#@! But I love my SSS too much so I cant do that : )
  4. I bought my 04 SS with 45K miles on it, and it had a Radix Magnacharger already installed, also fully loaded for $19K....they were asking $25K. I agree that you should pay about $23K for it however the milage is really good. Do it!
  5. I just started to mod my truck as money has been tight and I have way too many projects going on. I would like to say that the guys here have been so helpful and I am thankful to have this forum as an outlet. As someone who hasnt been on the site for a long time, I find it very useful and hope to see the senior members stay to help people like myself with their trucks. Thanks for everything.
  6. I have an 04 AWD SSS with a Radix Magnacharger blower, everything else on my truck is stock. It is my daily driver for the past two years and I have never had any problems at all with it. The guys are right, either set up can cause motor issues if ran incorrectly as they are both forced induction. I would definitly go with a Magna as I know first hand the power and reliability they supply. Also, you have to think about what your over all plan is for the SSS. What exactly are you trying to do with it?
  7. I feel ya, however I would want to keep it cosmetically stock. That was the best part about the 1st gen, black on red.
  8. Now I want one of these lol, I have another car to trade with.... http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/1652390301.html Not quite as nice as your 454 however its a start.
  9. Which ones are you guys referring to, on their website I dont see anything for AWD Silverado. Kelp a sista out
  10. thats when it was first done, the rear wheel wellls were preventing the car from sitting on frame.....hence we sawed them out. Now it sits completly on frame.
  11. I totaly feel you, no one ever wants to get burned. However I have found some unfortunate people along the way that now know where their vehicals stand against the SSS.
  12. I'm 5"5 not quite a mig but pretty damn close. I will try opening the doors and standing on the sills next time. That dosent cost me a dime and is def worth a try. Thanks!
  13. LMAO!!!! Those are probably the most hidious shoes I have ever seen in my life!!!! I think I will go with the extendable brush....but thanks!
  14. LMAO I knew I was opening the door for jokes there. Good idea I def need to invest in one of those! LMAO I knew I was opening the door for jokes there. Good idea I def need to invest in one of those!
  15. It is extremly embarrasing that I have to stand on a chair to fully clean my truck. I would much rather do it myself than take it to a wash but there must be an easier way! What should I do???!!!???
  16. Welcome from the 408, and congrads on your new SSS. How do you like it so far? Post up some pics!
  17. Awesome stuff. I also have three step children, 8,10,12 it is definitly an ongoing project in which you constantly have to lead by example. They really dig crusing in the cars so I hope my passion rubs off on them (they are already calling dibs on the SS). Here is a pic of my 51 after we finished the air ride.
  18. pull up bar is def the way to go, cheap and easy to remove when your done with it. Also its a great way to streach even if your not hurt. If the pain persists, go see a chyro...you may have a slipped disc or somthing that can be adjusted.
  19. I would definitly go with an 03/04 AWD you would regreat getting a 2WD model. I tow all sorts of stuff with my 04 AWD and couldnt be happier.
  20. I havent heard anyone suggest this so I will toss it out there..... the Subaru Impreza is a differnt option that offers all the things you are looking for: Four Doors All wheel drive Towing capacity Turbo charged Not quite a chevy but they are great cars.
