Old trick, #1 make sure you have the valve rockers completely off of both valves on the cylinder your testing so they aren't opening the valves. Old trick #2 tap the top of the valves with a hammer under pressure to make sure there isn't any residual machining/grinding/cleaning material on the valve seats.

Just a note about VIN's and Ordering Parts. I use the Mitsubishi CAP's Program for ordering parts for my Race Truck. If you have the VIN, That is the EASIEST way to look up parts, The database knows the build date of the vehicle and the correct parts/P/N's for your vehicle for when it was built, a later build date may have a different transmission variant, newer part etc. Without the VIN, you can still look up parts but with more difficulty and a possibility of a incorrect part depending on when a part was revised or updated like several parts for our Truck's. Mines a July of 2003, everytime it's in the shop, whatever get's replaced seems to always be replaced by a updated/revised part,I'm hoping they're better and will last longer :-)

Just had mine done, Blend door actuator... I had to have my A/C On, upper vent selected, recirculate on, and the fan on to get it to stop, any other combo was a clomp, clomp, clomp, every second, for 30 miles before I found the combo. $391.75 the actuator was $81.16 labor $310.59
