looks good take lots of pics.
I'm going to. I'd like to see how you did your fuel system for e85
-
Not trying to regulate anything that low. My original plan was to build a low compression high boost motor but I talked myself out of it.
-
yea i bet you did have to move a bunch. not much room for it on that side. twin 70's has got to put out some serious air. what sort of boost are you running?
Well it's not complete but I ll be looking to run 15+
-
thats sexy. are you running flipped manifolds? Thing will be a monster!
Yeah it's a flip manifold design. Had to move a bunch of crap on the drivers side to make it work.
-
Concerns, Is it gunna be fast?
I hope so. Your truck running again?
-
Looks like it's gonna be a nice build. Gonna be a track truck or weekend toy?
It's going to be a weekend toy but it ll see the track a few times
-
I forgot to mention the pic of the motor is how it sits right now. I had to go way for a month to do some training but I ll be back next week to complete the motor.
-
Well I guess its my turn to put my build up. Need some help in considering some things. Truck is an 05 AWD version.
Stock 6.0 block with brand new cam and main bearings.
Stock crank polished and balanced with entire rotating assembly
-14.3 dished JE forged pistons
243 heads with a simple 3 angle valve job.
Harden pushrods
PRC dual .650 valve springs
Ls6 ported oil pump
Comp double roller timing chain
Isky 215/221 .566/.575 112+5
Lunati rods
Arp main studs
Arp head studs
Twin 70mm master power turbos
Dual 38mm waste gates
50mm BOV
A2A intercooler
80e conversion
Yank PY 3600 converter
Things I need help considering are.
Converting over to E85
Intake manifold selection
I ve been putting pieces of this together for the last 6 months.
Here's a pic of what my engine bay when I was originally putting the
Turbos on, but then decided just to build a motor which I'm glad I did since a I found a hair line crack in on number 7 piston.
So any advice or concerns let me here them.
-
Holy crap ten people made a post in the two mins it took me to write this lol. Damn phone didn't show me all the posts.
-
You don't have to do any machine work on them to make them fit. And those are not 243 heads.
Those are most likely 706 or 862 based on the cc size
-
i think it was directed towards me since i metioned running dual pumps.
-
Who doesn't have e85? I got it but it like 45 mins from my house lol. So can that walbro 416 handle say 800-900hp on e85?
-
Yeah it was pretty loud. I forgot to mention I had 4 people in the truck to. I always race with my wife in the truck lol.
-
I don't really see there being a difference between the two pumps. I would compare other pumps like walbro and see if there is different part numbers for your year and mine.
-
it fits right in there. Im running one right now but mine is returnless. Are you just worried it wont fit? Im thinking about trying to stick another one in there and have duel 340s but I havent went to indepth with it yet.

This is an old video I found on my laptop of my 2.3 sidemout whipple SS vs my buddies lightning. He had the eaton pullied down as much as he could and tuned and maybe he had some cams in it I cant really rememeber. My truck had the sidemount, header, stall, cam, and tune (by blackbear). Race was from 20 or 25 i believe. He wouldnt race me out of the hole. When we raced from a 70mph roll he walked away from me. Just thought you guys would enjoy this. If the link doesnt work its because its the first time I used photobucket.
-
I would get with stock48 on pt.net. He specs some pretty badass cams (not just this triple 12). I'm running one with my twin setup.
-
Both are sold.
-
There not plug and play if that's what's your asking.
-
Cam and stall are pending sales.
-
That price is shipped
-
I have trouble posting pics to this site. All prices are negotiable. Call or text 405 740 7765 thanks for looking
-
i think its a 4" blower pulley and a 6.5" crank pulley

8:8:1 how is that thing run when it's not in boost. Chief the guy that's on street outlaws truck is a low compression high boost motor with e85. It makes a lot of horsepower but takes a good second to get the turbo spooled up. Watching his truck run around here made me reconsider a low compression motor.
