So some lovely person decided they needed to overfill their truck with chunks of wood, leading to one falling out and smashing into my driver side air duct and scraping up the bumper cover a bit. I am thinking of painting them red this time to offset all of the black on my truck a bit, anyone seen one done like that, perhaps with pictures? The options I was considering is red air ducts, bowtie, and the three SS emblems, just repainting the ducts black, or just ducts alone getting painted red.

Looking for a set of air ducts since someone lost a chunk of wood out of their truck that smashed one of mine today, let me know if you have the driver side or both.

I ended up paying around 20k for mine with 70K on it, it already had exhaust, cai and a few other small things done so I figured it wasn't too bad for dealer pricing figuring in that I didn't have to pay for those mods that I would have ended up getting anyway. I got them to throw in a Line-X job as well.

I had mine done a month or so ago, it was ridiculously expensive through the dealer, mostly because they were too inept to figure out what was causing the noise back there in the first place. I wish I had known about a two piece one as well, anyone have a part number, I know my passenger side one is rusty too.

I had my rims powdercoated black locally for $200, they painted the caps to match for $20 extra.

Been trying to find a cowl hood for awhile, everyone wants $350 or so for an unpainted one, and paint is going to be another $300 or more, been trying to find a painted one for under $500 but not looking like it's going to happen.

I have a shipping quote for about $140, can you get me pictures of the hood, preferably with your screen name included in the picture just as proof you have it? Thanks.

That seems really high on shipping, usually it's around $150-175 to ship one. I will check around and see what I can find, what's the zip there, 68104? Did you try freightquote.com?

Yea was great weather up here to get nothing done. New wheels look great, I still need to find out a color to match my caps better, they look a bit off next to my wheels.

There was a small local car show next to my store today so I put the truck in that, talked to a guy that has a really nice Syclone and Typhoon set for quite awhile. Started having my wheel make squeaking noises recently when turning, this took care of perfectly.

And this is just a rear kit from what I am reading? I would still need something for the front? Also will 305/50R20 tires be too large for it to work correctly?

We had a guy come by my work last week that had that exact color Avalanche with a huge 5300 sticker with the trailblazer style SS after it. It was hard for me to not make fun of him before he left.

It honestly looks good both ways, I blacked mine out but I was actually considering doing red ducts, bowtie, and emblems at one point.
