When do you draw the line and move on to a newer truck? I still love the SS but she is really starting to show her age (12 y/o).
-
Yeah, she is paid for. It needs the entire front end rebuilt to include new hubs, re-painted and new headlights and taillights. The Florida sun has really killed the exterior. The interior is mint though except for a few dog hairs.
I test drove a 13 awd 13' Sierra Denali and it definitely made me smile when that 6.2 was able to squeal all 4 tires.

How much about can I get for my truck at the dealer 102,654on it?

Got fed up with the truck sounding like it was falling apart whenever hitting a bump. Thought it was suspension but it was actually the lower cubby in the door panels rattling. Some liquid nails and spray foam and now the rattling is gone. I also sprayed the back of the door panels with rubberized undercoating to help with road noise.

Walked into my local Chevy dealer today to pick up a set of plugs and wires. Parts guy rings me up at $247. Subsequently turned around and walked out without said plugs and wires. Went to my usual (further away) dealer, $140 at cost. I buy them. Get home, yank the old stuff, go to put on the new stuff only to find out they sold me the wrong (shorter) wires. I just can't win...

Feeler: If I yanked all the Z06 conversion stuff prior to trading my truck (maybe), would anybody in Florida be interested in buying it? I think it would be way too heavy to ship.

I have no idea what its worth. I know what I paid for everything and it all has less than 10k (maybe 8k?)miles on it. I know I'll just be giving money away if I trade it to the dealer and that's what is holding me from trading (and the new tires and suspension!). Also have e-fans in the garage w/ harness.

Valero gas station across the street is having a customer appreciation program is and selling supreme 93 for the price of regular 87 for a limited time! Buying that supreme up at $3.34 a gallon!

So, my idler arm, pitman arm and bracket have already been done. Shocks and rear sway bar is waiting in the garage. About to order new front/rear bushings, ball joints, tie-rods and front sway bushings and end links... Am I missing anything to make this truck drive like new again???

Went to get me an alignment before summer and they informed me i need a pitman arm, idler arm and inner tie rod.. Ugh! So i have a to do list now!

Salesman: This is a great Grand Cherokee but it is being sold "as is" because the transfer case and 4wd system is not working. Also, the part is not available from Chrysler and we can't fix it. You can start it but you can't drive it. Me: Um, ok (lost all interest at this point). You do know your asking price is $3k ABOVE book... in perfect working condition...right? Salesman: We feel the Jeep is priced appropriately.

Then I got into a debate with both the salesman and mechanic about the 4wd system. The 08' GC is all-tile AWD, they told me it is select-able (it isn't). The lever is to engage 4LO, not 4WD. They didn't believe me about the all-time AWD until they put it up on the lift and put it in drive to see *magically* all 4 wheels were turning. They are asking $20 for this Jeep. I lust laughed as I walked away.

Been driving my buddy's 2013 Sierra Denali for the past week... I swore I would never get rid of the SS but the Denali is a DAMN nice truck!
-
The dealer offered me 10k for my truck , they make me laugh sometimes

So it's -20 something here. Wife's 2008 sierra won't start. Plenty of battery. Jump box and all. No crank what so ever. Any ideas?? Just drove it today. Never had a starter or fuel pump issue. 32k miles.

Need a part number: 2003 AWD Escalade ESV LQ9/4L65E w/ Stabilitrak. Need a wheel speed sensor and really don't want to join another forum to ask. Apparently there are different sensors for this vehicle.

The original battery from 03' is just about gone. Chevy wants $140 for a new battery w/ 700 CCA. Am I better off with something else? I really cant complain with the life of this battery.
