Yeah. Escalade beater. Good friend is about to trade in his 03' ESV Escalade with 130k. He is only expecting to get 5k out of it and doesn't care if the money comes from me or the dealer.

Just completed a 4,000+ mile road trip in the SS. Truck ran beautiful the entire time, no issues but he $1,300 in fuel really hurt.

First road trip in the SS. Florida to Massachusetts and back 3 weeks later. One state down so far!

Had the power steering system flushed and the brake fluid flushed/bleed at the dealer using the Tech2. WOW! Rock hard pedal with amazing clamping force. The truck stops effortlessly now. It was expensive (very expensive) but hydroboost and Z06 conversion was worth it!

Finished the rear Z06 Conversion tonight. Z06 brakes on all corners now! Still not much of a pedal but going to the dealer Thursday to get flushed and bleed with the Tech II.

I have been driving on my Hydroboost conversion for about two weeks now and it is a 100% improvement over the vacuum setup. However, I keep getting an occasional groan from the power steering pump and it keeps wheeping fluid from the cap... Any ideas?

i keep being pushed towards selling the sss when it's in for repairs. when is enough, enough?

Took the truck to the self wash car was to remove all the power steering fluid that spilled from the hydroboost swap. Sprayed de-greaser, began rinsing and the factory undercoating came off the frame... OOPS!!!

Beyond frustrated right now. Last day with a garage and still waiting on parts to get here for my Z06 conversion. I need the truck back an can't wait anymore. Looks like I'm turning my rotors and getting new pads for now which is just a waste of money especially with what I have tied up in parts already.

Just dropped almost $3,000 in parts. I could have paid the damn truck of! So much for sleeping tonight... But damn is this truck gonna stop!

Baller, no, not me. Putting brakes off for 3 years... Yup, that would be me. I would much rather put the $ elsewhere but I have a 3k mile road trip coming up and brakes are a necessity (or a new truck).
