Yeah, getting back in with my first trucking job is a plus. I will be able to save money here, but it will just take longer to do since I will be making less. I just want to get away from trucking and do something else, but I just don't know what else I could do being in the situation that I am in. This seems to be the only source of opportunity to make an income for me and I just am not happy with it. However this beats sitting at home with no job and no income from anywhere. This isn't all that bad, it's just I have reached a turning point and its got me all confused and not sure what I should do with the exception of driving this truck for this company.

I kind of have an idea of what I want to do, but I just don't know how to go to get there.

Well since I started with the flatbed hauling, things seemed to not go right and work out well for me. I failed at that job and now I am back to the job I started with pulling box vans again with Schneider National. I am not proud of this and this is not something I want to do, but I don't have any other way to make an income from anything nor can I afford to stop driving truck right now. I wish I could but not it looks like I will be stuck driving truck forever. Schneider is one of the lowest paying trucking companies around and doesn't pay nearly what I was making at ATS. I failed and now I am stuck with a lower paying job again.

If I was to get back over there, I would want the Intimidator SS. I like the Rear Wheel Drive only.

I was just over in Massachusetts last week on Friday and Saturday. Damn it...I just saw the thread post for that Intimidator SS.

Damn it...I was just over in Massachusetts. Had to deliver a load to downtown Boston. I stayed over in Massachusetts for a couple days/nights, not in Boston though. There no where to park a full length tractor trailer in Boston. Closest parking I could get to was a flying j or pilot truck stop that was 60 miles away from Boston. The one on I-84 exit 1. I would have loved to come see this Intimidator SS in person. Too bad I missed the chance. I am west bound now for the west states.

No I haven't asked them what they would charge. Don't think they will allow me to do that.

Yeah I get what you guys are all saying. I guess I will put it off. As for buying an SS, I just can't afford to spend that much right now. I have to get my loan paid off with my credit Union first and then save up for a down payment on a loan of that amount $10,000 or more. Besides I tried calling the phone number provided and got no answer or call back. So I don't think this will even follow through for anyone.

Because the Intimidator SS is the one that seems to stand out the most to me. I like all the Silverado SS trucks, but the Intimidator is semms to be my favorite. I asked about it a while back. I asked what the difference was between the Intimidator Silverado SS and a 2006 Silverado SS. I like the 2006 model year best although I know they were two wheel drive, but that don't matter to me because I am not going to be doing any Baja offroading with it. I live in western wisconsin and we do get snow and the road salt on the roads during the winter. But through the winter months, I would be parking my SS and not driving it on the salt covered roads. I just could not bare to let road salt eat away at the body of it and create rust holes. My 1995 Chevrolet Beretta Z26 has already taken an abuse from all of the winters I have driven it in. The road salt has caused quite a bit of rusted out metal on the body. It disappoints me, but I still continue to keep fixing the car just to keep it on the road, mainly because its my only vehicle I got right now. Hence the reason why I would like to have a pickup truck to drive when I need it and for when my car has to go to repair shop. This is just me...I am rambling on about something off topic. Sorry

Yeah the SS Intimidator is hard to find. I really want to get one, but all of the Intimidator Silverado SS trucks I find are located so far away from where I live. I wish I could pick one up with my flatbed trailer, but my company will not allow me to do that since the truck will pretty much take up all the space on the trailer and since I would be so far away from home, they wouldn't be able to find me a small load to fit on the flatbed trailer with the Silverado SS on there too, that will bring me towards home where I could drop off the SS. I kind of thought that this would be kind of cool to get however I just not real big on the thought that it's not a SS. It's just a plain Silverado pickup with SS front bumper cover and SS wheels. It would be a cool clone project but I know that would take a lot to do. Even if I was to get it, I wouldn't have to find the Intimidator emblems and parts. I would just find plain Silverado SS parts to make it a clone. But not sure if I want another project on my hands. If I buy an SS I just have to find and get the Intimidstor SS. I really like that one.

If you check out craigslist right now, you will find some Silverado SS in Wisconsin and up in Minnesota too. There are quite a few in and around Minneapolis and the Twin Cities.

Yeah I get it. I just talked to my dad today and he told me to just go and enjoy life and to do all the things I want to do. He told me I have the freedom to do what I want so enjoy it because once I get involved with a girl in a relationship, he told me that I am going to lose all the goals and dreams I wanted to do because those all will get taken away from ya. So I hear you all and I highly appreciate the advice. I am going to just live my single and keep pursuing my goals and dreams that I have set for myself. I would really hate to have those all taken away from me.

Anyway just thought about possibly getting this pickup, but want to ask for some opinions as to whether or not this would be worth getting. Not a SS, but it has the look of one though. I am not real big on it however it appealed to me though sort of. I would rather get a Intimidator SS but just to have something like an SS for now would be cool. I am 25 if anyone is wondering. I am still driving semi truck over the road in the flatbed hauling. I just seem to have that crave to find a girl. I don't know why but its very hard feeling.

Yeah I realize that, but man it just seems that a lot of girls, no wait let me rephrase that. All girls around my age are not into nice guys like me. I am not that guy who is too nice, but I'm a good nice guy who just treats nice girls with respect. I just feel that girls judge someone before they really know them and they shy away from that person. I look at profiles online and the one thing that has got me a bit wrapped up is fake profiles. In other words someone creating a profile with pictures of someone they are not. I fear for that happening. So far the only kind of responses iI got is from internet bots, which I have heard of and can pick those out right away. Besides those, just got to chatting with someone who I thought might have been legit. Was starting to get to know them a little bit and it was all seeming fine until she asked me if i would go onto this website. She told me that she was a model and asked me if i would vote for her. I figured yeah, but then she asked me go onto this website to create an account and enter a credit card number for verification. I asked her what was the credit card info for. She told me just for verification and she swore up and down that I wouldn't be charged for anything. I asked her again what this was all for. She told me that she would show me from her webcam. Right there is where I threw the red flag and told her or it or whoever it was that I don't buy into dirty tricks or.scams and I left. I caught onto this persons scam they were running and they removed me from their facebook. I laughed about it, but this just goes to show you, this crap is happening and there are dirty lying scammers out there just waiting to get someone. fortunately for me, I contacted the dating site and told them I wanted a refund and said I am going to leave the site. It's not satisfying I guess. As for posting up a photo, just go find me on facebook.

I keep that in mind. I can take the negativity. Yeah sure this guy has problems with girls. There, I admitted it. That should lighten the thread...jk Seriously though, I think girls are taking one look at me and they are judging me right away. Not even saying a word.

Okay so I've been driving truck for over a year now. At times I do think about girls. Sometimes I think that it would be nice to find someone but other times I think why bother. So since my last post on this topic, I did some research and found a dating website to try. I've tried other dating websites before in the past and nothing ever came around. So I decided to try this new dating website. I registered on the site since it was free. I am very werry of fake profiles on these dating sites so that was one reason why I stayed away from them. But anyway I decided to give one a try. So I went on did some searching and saw some profiles of nice beautiful girls that I tend to like and go after. So it just so seems that when you view someone's profile on this site, that person gets a notification letting them know that you viewed their profile. So I looked and saw a lot of nice girls. And from the looks of things, all these girls who look at my profile, they must think I am some kind of a creep or something. This is just buls***. I couldn't get a girl to save my life if my my life depended on it. I dunno what to do but this kind of thing is starting to make me hate girls. Just a note I am not a bad kind of person. I am not a creep or a stalker or anything of that kind of category.I really am a nice person. Thing is what am I missing here? I must be doing something wrong and I don't know what that is. I know this is really a sad thing and sounds very pathetic, but this has just got me so humbled in question right now. Yeah it's a sad thing, go ahead laugh it up...from my stand point everyone just sits all hush hush and laughs at me anyway.

Okay so being an over the road truck driver, you get to see a lot of things and what not every where you go. Well one thing I tend to see is Silverado SS trucks sometimes. I really like the truck however what I don't like to see is one being misused and abused like it's a junker. Indiana, I saw a black Silverado SS being used by someone who does road construction. He had that bed or box loaded full with road equipment and stuff that the rear suspension was squttin very low. Also saw it had some body damage. I have seen this pick up a few times including several times last year. Ohio saw a black Silverado SS being driven with what looked like were steel rusty dirty rims and tall tires. No lift of any kind done to the truck just the tires and rims. That looked hidius with those dirty rusty rims and ugly skinner tires. Utah saw a black Intimidator SS being driven when it was snowing and also to make things more reasoning, they were driving it over salt covered roads. That was just a disappointment. I was there and saw many plow trucks out that say and all of them were dumping salt in the roads. Illinois saw a red Silverado SS...looked like a nice well taken care of pick up until the person passed me and then I saw the damaged tailgate and scratches along the sides and the busted out lights and the dent in the box. Has anyone else seen these? If I had pics I would post em up, but its hard to take pics when your driving and not realizing that a Silverado SS is coming up along side you or going the opposite way as you.

Title says it. I have a load that I am delivering to a customer in the state of Washington. I will be sitting on it though all weekend because can't deliver until Monday since no one is around at the customers delivery location to unload me. So I will be sitting all weekend around quincy or somewhere. Not sure where yet. Anyone on here from or live around or in Washington? Just thought it would be cool to maybe meet up with someone and get out to go do something other than sit in my truck all damn weekend staring out the windows.

My birthday is today. Too bad I can't spend it at home. Sucks when you have to work on your birthday sometimes. last 4 years I had to work on my B-day. But this is life. Anyway not to make this sound like a bad thing and it's probably dumb to post this, but I just wanted to share this with you all.

I had something similar to this situation happen to me, except I was the seller and someone else was the buyer of some atv parts off my quad. I sold some atv parts to some guy in New York, he paid and I shipped them and provided him with a tracking number. Problem was the post office messed up the address. Clerk miss typed the address for the label on their computer and the atv parts ended up lost somewhere up in New Jersey. Parts were never recovered, I tried to get the post office to find them and did all I could to try to get them to find the package. They never tried and never found it. So buyer asked for a refund. I didn't refund his money yet, but I am going to just because I feel it is the right thing to do. Money just makes enemies and cause trouble and pain and hate between people. I just don't want to be known as someone who is greedy and takes money from people. Guy is cool about it so far and he is not like mad, he is just disappointed and so am I.

Does anyone on here from Minnesota? I've been stuck up here for the past 3 days because of my truck being in the shop. Nobody seems to know how to fix a flippin semi truck at all. This truck has been breaking down, parts going bad and I have asked about getting a different truck and company will not put me into a different truck. This truck has broken down on me 3 times. This is the 4th time it has had to go into a shop and the problems with it just don't stop. I haven't been able to go drive anywhere with a load for the last 3 days. I'm almost about to just call it quits with this field of work and give up trucking all together. It's getting to be too much for me and way to frustrating. Anyway besides that, does anyone live in Minnesota?
