That truck has been for sale for 4-5 months, kinda surpised it hasnt sold. That was the truck i was gonna buy, but went with the 1 in minnesota instead only because it was slightly out of my budget.

Truck looks very very clean, nice find. I must say im not a fan of the silver accents in the interior, but it doesnt look horrible either. Like he said, it was a dealer option, not a factory option, meaning this wasnt a normal option from GM.

Nice to know theres some bowlers on the forum...... shoulda stuck with hammer though

Man, good on you for walking away from that deal. Im sure you had that sick feeling in your stomach getting yourhopes up like that, then coming to find out the truck is a pile, and the guys lied!!!! I flew down from alaska to Minnesota to buy my SS also. So i was also worried, if what the kid was saying was true, luckily for me, my truck was clean ( with some minor issues also of course ) It made a 4k mile drive home in 4-5 days and didnt miss a beat, so it passed the reliability test if you ask me lol. Anywho, glad you got a truck you liked man.... post some pics like everyone mentioned. .

Man, Glad you are Ok... the lady aswell! Vehicles can be replaced, even though it still pisses you off what happened, theres another SS out there for ya bud. Crazy..... just crazy. Good luck in your search. Are you looking for an SS in your area, or willing to travel? There was an 03 Black SS for sale in cali ( in the for sale section )with 58k miles on it for 18k, when i was looking for my truck. If i hadnt found a blue 1 i wanted, i was gonna buy his, its super clean.

Well, When i bought my truck the tach was stuck at 6k, and has been since ive had it. So i took it to the dealer a month ago, and asked if these were still warrantied, becase of the common problem with these cluster issues. Guy looks up my VIN, and says that i met the mileage criteria for warranty on it, but not the years ( mine had 8 year covered ext warranty for the cluster or whatever, truck is 9 ) So he says theres nothing they can do, 600 dollars will get it fixed. So i went to another big dealer here in alaska, and tried my luck there..... They said the same thing. But here, the service manager was really cool, and said look, dont tell GM i said to do this, but here's there direct Number in Michigan, call them and see if they'll work with ya on it, they usually will, and if they do, they will contact us, and we can get ya squared away. So i called GM, Lady was really nice ( even called me back 2 days later when she said she would, cause dealer here was closed, and there was nothing she could do till Monday) and tells me she has some good news.... that the dealer is willing to work with me On the cluster. My total cost for everything will be 100.00, instead of 600! Anywho, Just wanted to share that GM took care of me very well i thought. They didnt have to do a damn thing for me, but they did, and i thought they should get some credit for it. Will be nice having a tach! Cheers, Justin

Looks awesome man. I Actually like the new Hood More. It gives the truck a cleaner look. Im Not sure how much i like the Roll pan though, i actually like the bumper Look. Nice work Man!

It will do SO SO in 2wd in the snow, depending how much your going through ( 1-3 Inches ), but snow, 2 wheel drive, pulling a trailer... your not going anywhere.

Guess im the only 1 on the site that actually likes ford aswell as GM, they ARE american Made after all. Id drive either with no problems. Both make Great trucks.
