  1. Zach a tune will give your truck a more efficient HP and TQ curve. With out it your throwing parts at the wall hoping it will make more power. You would need to have a base tune then a retune for every upgrade to maximize your performance, and that my friend is a proven FACT. You can upgrade several things at once when you get the parts piled up after you install them a tune is a must.
  2. ^True, but it also depends on the state and county you live in. I'm from Southern Illinois and we don't have emissions down there. I have had my cats taken off at a exhaust shop, they did not have a problem with it and neither did the county when I had it inspected. Now I live in NC and the whole state does a visual inspection and that's it but they have to be there. you can hollow them out and they wouldn't know.
  3. I will let you know for sure Spencer. I will be building a 370 for that setup when I do. I haven't figured out which converter I'm going with yet but that's where I'm starting.
  4. Very true about the heads and you get what you pay for. Your also correct about the cost too, but if you want better performance it will come at a price. In all honesty I will probably be going with the PRC 6.0 2.5 head and cam package because it's a whole kit vs. the TEA Trick Flow is heads only.
  5. What he said exactly. I have heard that Trick Flow heads flow better then the PRC heads though. They maybe something you need to look into.
  6. Exactly but if your selling something on Craigslist or Ebay you should expect you may have to ship stuff.
  7. I will pm you later today when I get off of work. Thanks for the quick reply.
  8. Well he has a buyer lined up and won't ship. I was like why the hell not. I have shipped just rims and it's not that bad at all.
  9. coal miner is the tbss tb still for sale?
  10. It's on the driver/left side tail light inside in the middle you can see the white circle on it. It does not affect the view at all.
  11. 2006 brake lights and tow hooks, will fit all 2003-2007 NBS trucks. The brake lights are used the drivers side has a crack on the inside from heat, but the passenger side is in great shape. The tow hooks are in great shape. I just took them off because I don't need them. $60 shipped for the tail lights and $45 shipped for the tow hooks.
  12. I agree about the headers they look great they fit good I just had to run different transmission lines. The frame was cut a little bit and move probably 2" x 3" x 3". I understand what they're saying about the frame being cut and insurance companies saying that I was told but that's in regards to an accident or the frame is bent the frame really wasn't bent it was just pushed and pulled her back out to same thing like going like I said going into the notching the frame for lowering the trucks. I specifically called my insurance company which is USAA and asked about the laws North Carolina and they said it was perfectly fine as long as it wasn't a structural damage from the accident.
  13. I do not have a totaled truck I notched the frame just like when people notch their frame to go lower. I ordered these headers because I'm not paying the prices Kooks, ARH & Stainless Works wants for their headers. For there prices I could buy a set of Lemon's custom made headers which are by far more superior then the other three. Also the Pacesetters 1 7/8 headers have that ugly ass smog port on them. I used the TSP because I like the stainless product but won't pay the big three's prices. I really don't care if people "dig" what I'm doing. I am trying to save money, raise a family & go fast. Why is it on this site everyone judges each other on what they do to there own trucks. What every happened to minding your own business or moving on if your not down with some one else's ideas? I cut 3 silts in my frame and pushed the metal in, I have pulled it back out and welded it back up. How is that any different then some one with a G-Body cutting the rear frame rails and recessing them to make room for wider rims? If your not interested in a little fabrication then maybe you need to move on from hot rodding because that's what it's all about.
  14. Ok so I didn't really need to notch the frame, but I had to reroute the trans lines. Since I installed a TruCool 40K trans cooler. I went ahead and bought some braided hose and fittings to install it with and the headers fit perfectly. I know need to pull the passenger header and weld the frame notch back up. Now my transmission needs to be rebuild because is slipping and wont shift into 2nd without me letting of the throttle so it can.
  15. How much for that there head unit, lol??? Do you have sun visors in grey to match the SS trucks?
  16. Do you know the exact year and package of his truck, or the part number for those rims. I can't find them online anywhere.
  17. I really like them. I may have to sell my stock Chrome SS wheels so I can buy these.
  18. Those look sharp, what style and what truck did those come off of?
  19. Look on Craigslist in the states bro. I'm sure you could find some across the border and hall them back up north. I found a set of 275/60/15 in NC.
  20. Gotcha, wish I could but mine are too brittle and have fallen all apart.
  21. Damn, that's nuts. I will have to try and find some at a junk/salvage yard.
