  1. Use google I have been thinking about doing the same thing.
  2. Yes search to find out what exhaust you would like and then youtube for a video clip of the sound.
  3. Thomas if I was you I would look into a 6.0L LQ9/4, or if you can swing it a 6.2L L92. As soon as I can I'm doing the L92 top end swap on my LQ9. I just see that the heads, and intake flow so much better then the stock LQ9 stuff. I will be also doing a cam swap at the same time along with a stall converter. It's all depends on what you want to do.with you truck. You arent going to see that much of difference in fuel economy believe me I know. I went from a 2005 Silverado Z71 4WD with 33 inch tires to a 2006 ISS 2WD and stock tires which just changed like 1 mile less a gallon. But like these guys above me said before it all depends on how you drive it.
  4. Congrats Bro, I will stop by later or see you on Saturday.
  5. This all depends on what your plans on for the truck. If it's a street truck that is a daily driver/dual purpose vehicle. Then I would suggest a 3200 Triple Disk. That's just my 2 cents, because I plan on still using my truck as a truck and my daily driver. I will tow and haul with it along with taking it to the track whenever I want to. I do plan on changing my engines top end to a L92 head/ LS3 intake manifold. I also plan on installing a bigger cam with supporting valve train upgrades. As for the brand of the torque converter it's really up to you, but DO NOT go cheap. You really get what you pay for with them.
  6. AugustBurnsRed, sorry man but you are way off on your info. If it is boosted(Supercharged, Turbocharged) engine then yes you would need a lower compression ratio. I am speaking from experience with older BBC and SBC engines. It doesn't matter what kind or brand of engine higher compression motors love nitrous.
  7. Lol same here Steve!!! I completely understand Sprayed.
  8. This is getting old with the picking at each other. The Admin have a job to do and let them do it. This site is getting to be a bunch of babies crying about nothing. The people that actually care about their trucks, and what to help each other out are going to leave.
  9. I got a set in my ISS but they aren't in great shape. I could part with them, I want some weather techs!!!
  10. GI.SS is right I used Kooks High Flow Cats off of a F-Body car. They don't sell them on their website but if you look on Craigslist you sound be able to find a Y-Pipe off of a F-Body for sale and just cut the cats off. I blew out the 2 1/2" out to 3" and welded up my old mid-pipes to it. I will be going to RJ's Custom Piping in Raleigh, NC to have a total cat-back true dual 3" custom exhaust with a x-pipe, and either 3" Spin Tech or SLP LM2 Mufflers. RJ is the only one besides Kooks who has a mandrel pipe bender in NC. I'm doing 3" exhaust for two reasons. First is because I hate to do things more then once and have to waste the money on doing it a second time. Second is because if you plan to make more power then the 3" piping will help out at least 5-10 HP.
  11. I have 3 used in good condition chrome Silverado SS wheel center caps. They have a very little chrome peal being that they are made of plastic and came off of a 7 year old truck with 115,000 miles on it. I am asking $60 shipped to the lower 48.
  12. I have a black lower bumper grill it is in great shape. I'm asking $40 shipped if interested call or text Jason @ 618-806-0887.
  13. I am looking to buy a set of chrome center caps.
  14. I have these posted on Craigslist for sale locally also. I'm asking $120 shipped so I think it's a very reasonable price. Like I said only one tab is broke but it's still attached and can be epoxied and fixed very easily.
  15. Nope I ordered new ones, but thanks for asking. I'm just trying to sell the extra ones I have.
  16. Ok so are you trying to trade with me or are you wanting to sell it??? if you want to sell this is my sale thread, post one of your own please.
