I have a 4.3L v6 and I was wondering what transmission they have in them? I found a 5.3L engine I'm wanting to buy and drop in, but I'm not sure if I need to get the 4l60e transmission with it?

I had the same problem with my oil pressure gauge. Took my truck to the nearest Chevy dealer they did a little diagnosis on it all in all they just put in an all new cluster. I think it might have to do with under an 80,000 mile warranty.

This truck is just what I have decided to do in the past couple years. I'm just looking to trade up for either and SS or 5.3L Silverado, I just want something faster. This truck in amazingly clean on the inside and out, I've taken great care of it as have the past owners. I'm just not trying to poor alot of money into a truck with an v6. Well guys I faced with a little problem, I can't make up my mind on what to do next with my truck, its a toss up between dropping my silverado another 2/2 drop, or getting my rollpan, new smooth handles color matched, and my grill painted to match the truck, what you guys thinking?
