  1. Lol so from the few responses I'm getting the RE one will be it for what I want and for the price it will work fine? I was just under the impression all subs had to be ran off a monoblock.
  2. He told me since it's a dual 2 ohm that would be best as far as price and what I want. And if it were a 4 ohm a mono block amp would be best.
  3. I'm not an audio guy at all in case you can't tell. My brother actually pointed me to this sub which is why I bought it as he is quite the audiophile. He recommended this amp. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27287_RE-Audio-XT-800.2V3.html
  4. Bought a sub for my Silverado SS because the factory Bose system wasn't doing it for me. Anyway I went with an 8 because this is my daily driver and I just want it to sound good. I'm already to that age where loud and annoying isn't that cool anymore and hearing sheet metal vibrate and rattling bolts loose isn't appealing anymore. Have heard tons of good on this sub also so figured I'd try it out. So anyway what amp can anyone recommend? Trying to keep it less than $120. Also want something that's not all full of lights and stuff. Just something real stealth I can put under the seat. I don't want to add any more subs either. Anyway this will be going into a sealed box with .97 cu. ft. air space I found on Ebay. Cheaper than anywhere else and looks to be good quality. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-SILVER...b63008&vxp=mtr Here is the sub and it's specs, got the dual 2 ohm. http://www.skaraudio.com/index.php/products/vvx-8.html
  5. Just as the title reads I need an X link to hook up a TBSS intake manifold and TB to my 03 Silverado SS.
  6. Payment sent on Intake manifold and TB.
  7. Yea I figured I'd get the Y from Pacesetter for their headers.
  8. I want to see the intake manifold!
  9. Well again this goes back to personal preference. All the piping is crush bent and I want to get all the HP that I can with the cam and everything. Also here local to me all I have available is cvrush benders so I'd rather buy a mandrel bent premade catback.
  10. Personal preference really. Never have really liked the Flowmaster sound. That and being dumped it drones bad.
  11. Dumb question I know but I am a new owner and want to put a catback on my SS. Right now it has longtube headers and a custom true dual exhaust with a H-pipe and Flowmasters dumped under the bed. I am curious if any catback for a 03-06 Silverado will fit or if it is different because of the AWD? I really want a Pypes but I'm sot sure if it will bolt up.
