  1. LQ4 or LQ9??(not that its a bad price either way)
  2. Thats GM list price, most seem to be going for $165 online...but yes intimadator stuff is expen$ive
  3. They both fit/mount the same. Its just that 03-05 are diamond shaped, the 06-07 are honeycomb shaped.
  4. Just an FYI, the ones in your pics are the 03-05 ones. SAE-auto on ebay has the center grill for $60 and the brake ones for $20ea. for new GM ones. Don't think you'll be able to find used ones any cheaper.
  5. Is your sub the only thing powered off the amp? If so, it sounds the the amp trigger wire is wired to the power antenna lead on the radio, which isn't powered when in CD/aux mode. Been close to 20 years since I messed with aftermarket systems but my old Alpine had a button to toggle power to that feed to keep the amp going.
  6. It will fit over your stock bumper bar. The factory SS bumper used 11 brackets to hold it to the bar though. I've heard of people using screws and double face tape to hold them on, but I'm not sure how well that would work to make it sit/look right without at least some of the brackets.
  7. Oreily has new brackets for $24 each, and backing plates for $20 each.
  8. On a lot of the lift kits, you have to cut the top mounting ear off the front carrier to mount the bracket that drops the carrier down. So you'd have to swap carriers(or at least the drivers side part of the housing). I think most of the lifts also have to cut the rear drivers side carrier mount off the frame to clear some bracket, so watch for that as well.
  9. The pick up frame is flat, and the esky frame is not. You'd have to cut the whole floor of the bed out to get the box to sit over the frame. Also the esky is 116" wheel base and your p/u is 119". Not trying to be a negative nancy, but I think for what you have planned, you'd be better off sending the escalade down the road, and working with what you've got in the truck.
  10. Does it get better or go away as the truck warms up?
  11. Ttt...anybody want anything?? Make an offer, garage needs a clean out
  12. Like you would set your cab on the escalade frame while you build the short box frame? Or you want the pickup body on the escalade frame as a running driving vehicle? Not sure on #1, but #2 you'd pretty much have to use all the escalade stuff to make any of that stuff work. If it was an 03 you could mix and match, but everything '02 down is incompatible electrical-wise.
  13. all '03s had the cloth insert, all 04-07s had the vinyl insert, regardless of cloth or leather. 03-05 had the carpet on the bottom, 06-07 had no carpet.
  14. If you want extra dark pewter(dark grey) it would have to be '06 or '07 classic only. Silverado/sierra/avalanche only. Wouldn't matter cloth or leather. Non-bose will have tweeters in them. Just an FYI, I couldn't find a heated seat one for my pass. side so i ended up cutting the hole for the switch, ended up being pretty easy.
  15. You could have at least talked him into putting an SS emblem on the drivers side.
  16. Its a real intimidator(ran the vin). Hammered paint, bent rear bumper, no tailgate handle and still $21k price tag? Do they really command that much? I'm wondering if it was a theft recovery at one point, and the intimidator stuff walked off and they cut a few corners putting it back together.
  17. There are 2 of those under the core support. That would be all of them.
  18. The part numbers are 15182648 and 15182649.They are just little z-shaped brackets similar to the front fender ones. You could make new ones out of sheet metal in about 2 mins rather than spend the $30+ each that GM wants for them.
  19. Yep, just take the CV shaft off the flange/stub axle, swing it out of the way and pop the stub out to replace the seal. Also Hi from the other side of the state.
  20. Its also the rare 1 of 1 that has tan leather and 4wd
  21. Wound up with a few extra doors I'm not going to use. Thought I'd toss them on here in case there's anyone in the area that can use them. Shipping would be alot, so pick up would work best. Got a pair of fronts off an '02. Pewter in color. Not perfect, but rust free. Pass. side is missing glass. $150/each, $250 for the pair. Also have 2 right rears, 1 pewter 02 not super nice but rust free $50, and an 05 in silver birch also rust free $75. Located in Moorhead MN (next to Fargo ND)
  22. Pictures are of #1, 2 and 3 respectivly
  23. 1: engine harness from an 06 1500. 5.3/auto with flex fuel/manual 4x4. Complete, uncut, no plugs missing. $150 2: engine harness from an 06 1500 5.3/auto/push button 4x4. It is cut where the harness drop down the front of the motor, where it goes over to the pass. side o2 sensors, and where it drops down to the drivers side o2 sensors. It is complete, just cut in those 3 spots. Good for parts or custom harness or ?? $80 3: 06 1500 front light harness with e-fans, complete uncut $125 4: 06 1500 front light harness with e-fans, complete but the fog light terminals have been repaired $100 5: 06 1500 front light harness with e-fans, missing most of the bulb sockets, but the e-fans part of the harness is there and untouched. $75 All prices are B/O and without shipping. I'm guessing shipping most anywhere in the lower 48 will be $25 or less.
  24. If its a factory mirror, its power fold. Most all replacement drivers' side glasses will not have the auto dimming feature. Only the OEM replacements ($300+) I've seen have that. Before you get crazy, maybe pop the glass out and see if the heat wires are plugged in, or one of the tabs didn't pull off.
