I did the dorman 2-piece backing plates on mine, and they did the grinding thing. I jacked up the wheel and pulled the backing plate away from the rotor until it stopped grinding. Took a bit of fiddling to get them quiet.

Could be a blend door motor thats out of range, thats trying to move a door farther than is supposed to, making the motor click or thump on the heater box.

Unless you have the shark fin style antenna('06-up), you will need a separate antenna for the XM. Onstar one is different.

It could be, but more likely the evap solenoid.

The LA-area salvage sales always have a few SS's, and they're always theft recoveries. The never take the front diff or the extended cab door claddings. Every other SS part is gone. Someone must be churning out RCSB clones down there.

Leave them off. From a collector stand point, its been "deflowered" by the salvage title. The VIN will prove its a real ISS if you go to sell it, and the buyer wants proof its not a clone.

The ones on ebay look like the winglets are meant to stick on, no mounting studs or holes. I wonder if they can be made to be bolted on without messing it up?

The clock spring has seven turns from lock to lock. Slowly turn the wheel one way or the other, in seven turns or less you should feel the wheel tighten up then stop. If it stops, its good, if it keeps spinning, or you hear a slapping noise, its bad. Just do it gently, doesn't take much to rip it up.

The Sierra denali/denali/escalade has a leather covered one. It's also completely different. You'd have to switch the whole console.

Is it from an ss or an hd truck? If its an ss or denali/escalade it should be fine. If its from an HD truck(4L80) i think it would have a different tranny plug, but could be made to work? O2 sensor placement might be different too, depending on what your doing there.

I'm 99% sure you cant use '02 down stuff(other than the long block) on an '03 up truck. You would need the harness and computer out of an 03/04 V8 truck. With the '03 v6 being dbc and the '02 being dbc, and an 03/04 v8 being dbw, I'm not sure what would be the best to use for the ecm? Maybe a '03 van one(dbc w/v8)? I think the simplest would just be to convert it completely to DBW, but thats just me.

Two more of the bottom left corner ones (rear bed brackets) one more of the one next to it(front fender bracket). I assume the rocker molding brackets just aren't pictured) * and one more of the ones on the right, just saw there were 5 and not 6.

I have seen them taped or clipped on the center of the light wiring harness, both pointing towards the center of the truck. Just follow the harness from under the drivers headlight towards the center, might be there, might not.

Edit: Never mind, found it at copart. You were probably so excited by this Intimidator with the Sears 16" wheel and tire "upgrade"( and leveling kit??), that you got confused. Or maybe it was this redonkulus '03 with the 26" upgradde (double D for double dose of pimpin')
