  1. Only awd for 2003 & 2004. 2005 was the last year of awd. It could also be had rwd that year. Only rwd for 2006 & the few 2007s they made.
  2. I'll take them if no one has stepped up for them.
  3. Reliable Auto Parts in Yuma, AZ is showing an intimidator gauge cluster for $250, they've had it quite a while, maybe they'd deal on it.
  4. I've got the bolts. I do have a buddy digging through his pile to see if he still has one, but i should know in the next day or two if you could hold it for me.
  5. I'm guessing it went in the iron bin when the P/o installed the chickensh*t dual exhaust. Any chance you'd part with that one?
  6. Thats the one. I'll use bubble gum and bailing wire, before I spend $100 on a bracket.
  7. Its the one on the bottom right of the picture. Hangs off the side of the tranny and goes over the tranny crossmember to catch the 2 cat mounts. Maybe its and AWD only thing? (Pic stolen from google)
  8. Looking for the front exhaust hanger for an SS. Its the one that mounts on the side of the tranny and has two holes to support the cats. I think it can come off any SS or half ton GMT-800 that had a 6.0L.
  9. Any old 99-06 Silverado or Sierra bumper bar will work. The HD truck uses the same bar as well(brackets are different). Even a tahoe/suburban bar could be made to work, since its all hidden by the SS cover anyway.
  10. If you go the KY route, make sure to leave the empty bottle laying around the garage. Make the S/O think you took your love for your vehicles to the next level.
  11. Aww man...I was hoping for the world first RC/LB clone. You did say you wanted to be different. Anyway, ditch the lever t-case, and join Team AWD asap.
  12. A little wipe down with WD-40 will also do it. It also keeps your doors from freezing shut(which I'm sure is a huge concern for you southern boys). Maybe try a little grease on the check straps. The rear doors on my denali never got used, and sounded like haunted house doors, and a good greasing fixed them right up.
  13. Mine is AWD, The unit I have is a Kelsey. I think the problem is my chassis harness. The one I have is supposed to be correct for most any 05/06 ext cab/short box, but the more i research, it looks like SS(and maybe denali p/u) are by themselves. I think TRW is the other supplier.
  14. Having some trouble on my truck. According to my interchange, 03-06 SS uses the same abs pump/module. My truck is an 05, and I ordered a unit that came off an 03 ss. The main plug is different between the two. Anyone know if the 05 module is different or have a pic? All the pics online looks like 03/04 are the same, and 05/06 are the same. Just trying to figure out what I actually need.
  15. The heated elements have green plugs, pretty easy to spot. The bottom seat bun comes off fairly easy, even when the seat is bolted in the truck. Its likewise pretty easy to throw in a lower element. The upper is kind of a bastard(especially if you haven't messed with seats before). Don't replace that one unless you have too. The under seat plugs are pretty easy to figure out, but the plugs for the front/back up/down motors are the same and can be swapped. So if you get it back together, and the adjustment switches do something totally different than what they're supposed to, that's what went wrong.
  16. About 98% of the time its the elements. It's the only part of the system that sees any wear and tear. On both my HD's it was the lower. On my 05 1500 and my dads 03 suburban, it was both the upper and lower elements.
  17. Its @ copart. I think you need a membership. Like $300/year, but anyone can be a member. I only found like 2-3 V-max crews nationwide on the sales, and they were all fubar. I like the black and silver ones, but the price seems high for the age/miles. But maybe I'm just used to the cheap salvage prices.
  18. As has been said, its a pretty open ended question. How deep down the rabbit hole do you want to go? Will a '99 2wd rc/sb with 250k miles on the 4.8, with SS cladding hung on it work for you? Does it need to be a rust free low mile '06 with LQ9/AWD with mods? I guess I'd start with finding a truck to build off of, and start crunching numbers. I can't see it coming in under $5k for a modest build, and shooting past $10k for something more righteous. Being in Alaska will make it more of a challenge. At about the $7-8k mark, I'd just start looking for a higher mile SS to work with rather than the clone route, would be cheaper and worth more in the end.
  19. heres a denali coming through the sale in atlanta, 113K just hail or pissed off ex-girlfriend damage
  20. Looking for a complete stock exhaust set up with cats. Would consider used after market if it complete. Let me know what you've got send pm or email [email protected] or text 701-866-5573. Tia Matt
  21. Thats the regular silverado one. The SS one is $65. Check out SAE warehouse on ebay. They have them for $20. Only blue and silver left though.
  22. please killlllllllllllll meeeeeeeeeeeee....
  23. Could be worse...could have the rocker delete package with the ultra rare peeling plasti-dip clearcoat protection.(yes that is an SS)
