I read your whole post, and im not taking a side, what sticks out in your analysis, both are the SAME displacement. Yes the ZR1 has a TVS2300, the C7 is direct injected not the port injection used on the LS of the C5 and C6. Im sure for the same money and aftermarket support you can be faster, but the C6 ZR1 had some nice body wofk to it that I liked, but the new direct injected LT1 has beast like potential that has yet to be unlocked.

My system isn't that big, but you live in the cold, wipers, defrost, heat, stereo, headlights, and fog lights all at once were straining thw 105 amp alternator

When doing my big 3 I left all stock wiring and added 1/0 for my big 3.
Thats what I did, but I added a 300 amp billet case alternator

You still pay manufacturing costs which equates to $5500. I will have to see if I still have the guys card. All me SEMA contacts and materials are put up in my closet

A note this should fit the non ss silverados and sierras from 03-07c with the volant intake. A breeze to install. Uses the tow hook bolt
