I like Alabama and wanted them to win, but parr of me wanted to see a weekend of upsets. Im talking 1, 2, and 3 go down. After that dumbass call of having the 2nd string kicker attempt a 56 yarder, im glad Auburn won. They will learn not to do that again.

Find some 17's. They are a dime a dozen on craigslist. I snagged a set of Aluminum 2005-06 17's with tires for $250

AWD can fit a 16" 2WD can fit a 17" minimum. The deciding factor is the brakes. The 03-04 brake system requires a minimum of 16" wheels. The 05 AWD used the 03-04 brakes. 05 2WD used the 05-07 brakes which has a larger front rotor and drum rear. The minimum wheel soze to clear the front on a 2WD is a 17" because of this just like what came stock on the 05-07 non SS

I havent spent much time there. Just been passing through on the 10 and spent time in NO and Baton Rouge. I lived in NW Florida before California. I did a lot of in town driving and really nothing over 55 unless I was on the interstate so drone was not an issue. Curious as to how the XR1 will sound when cruising at 75. When I was picking parts before the Corsa I was set on the XR1 Sportsman.

My concern was drone since my truck sees over 20k a year with at least 250 a week highway. Thats why I abandoned the XR1 idea, and since my truck was originally a 4.8 I would have had to find the muffler and have it finished off. The corsa ran me about $1700 when all said and done with buying used 6.0 cats and pipes, the Corsa, and install since I had it installed the day after leaving the hospital. No idea where you live (phone doesnt show the info), but I take highways everywhere with speeds varying from 55-80 and the drone from the old Flowmaster was killing me.

I can comment on Corsas fit. It didnt. Mine had to be cut and extended 1/4 inch to fit. Its ni e that you made your own. I debated doing the same setup with the Corsa tip.

On my sierra I went from having a cleared and tinted parking light to one with a black housing and stock lens with the orange. It just looks right. If you like the look then go for it. Your opinion is the one that matters. You have to see and drive the truck everyday.
My opinion, the clear option looks good, but to me it got old after a couple years. From what I hear the quality of the Ebay ones is hit or miss as far as leaking issues, but for the price, worth a shot.

If you want to get really fancy, 4" black ABS drain pipe. About $5.50 a ft at Home Depot

I am determined to make this work. 2 each of the BWD version of the GM parking light/signal harness on order. Should have them on Saturday morning. I will break out the test light to find the lead to tap and hope it works.

I want it as parking and DRL. No turn signal. Since 3157's are dual filament I may be able to make it work utilizing that

May do something similar but parts stores are closed today. Use a parking light or tail socket and wire it the same as the DRL socket but one wire of the pigtail to the parking light trigger wire with a T-Tap

My DRL doesn't operate as parking or turn signal. Its the same setup as your sierra.

Doing some soldering on the wires to see if that will work

Silver stripe towards parking lights right?
In theory your way should have worked. I used the diodes mentioned in your thread. Unless a different diode is needed. I also used a solid wire instead of stranded.

DRL on with parking light

Thanks. It took some thinking since the diode to the relays didn't work. I need to get some night pics
