  1. I love orange! Those look good.
  2. Well that's cool! Love the GM vehicles representing!
  3. Weird that is where I found that it would work. I'll shoot them an email and see.....
  4. You sure it won't work with our trucks? According to what I can find that is for 2006 plus GM full size trucks. I may try on my 06. Anyone else know about these?
  5. I doubt it... with privacy laws and such I highly doubt DMV would give you info... maybe Texas is different but I doubt it. Most states classify that as stalking... lol.
  6. Silicon spray doesn't stay greasy... I would shy away from WD40... while it might be a mechanic in a can its a petroleum product and I would worry about breaking down the rubber.... GM also makes a weatherstrip lube if you want to get real fancy..
  7. Silicon spray. Vasalene works also. White Lith would be messy.
  8. It may be your door seals actually. Back in the day when the 07 trucks came out GM issued a tsb for a creaking / squeaking noise. The fix was to "lube" the weather stripping. They ended up actually designing a new seal. On yours I could take a clean rag that is damp and wipe all the seals down. I would start with that first.... The cause... Dirt getting on the seal and rubbing on the body as it flexes as you make turn typically at slow speeds.
  9. I never miss one.... Thank you dvr gods! SSS wasn't racing but you see in background. That was filmed during the Dream Cruise.... I'm a bit confused as Dodge rented out the 'ol silverdome parking lot to have drag racing sponsored by dodge. I thought it was only open to Dodge /Chrysler cars from what I read but clearly it wasn't. I saw a few GM products representing....
  10. EXGM

    WOW

I think he was talking about the 2006 listed. If you look close on the wheels you can see the little "GM" logo on one of the spokes. The wheels and logo look like they were plasti dipped or sprayed what have you....
  11. I saw that too. Any motor city members on here?
  12. I'm kind of surprised there isn't a ISS registry page with vin number and truck numbers. To at least document and keep track of the trucks. Maybe a page or section could be added. I don't have one but you think the folks with them would want.
  13. Possibly if your is the drive by wire. I would take a look I bet it's all gummed up.
  14. Do you have a check engine light? I would look at your throttle body. If you haven't ever cleaned start there.
  15. Well his truck is how old with how many miles? At some point you need to be an owner.... They would laugh at you if you bitched to GM. Just saying..... Some of these trucks are 13 years old with God knows how many miles..... Stuff wears out eventually!
  16. Just go to a junk yard and get one. It's the same on all the GMT 800s and GM made millions of them so finding one at a yard should not be a problem......
  17. Your welcome... glad I found it!
  18. Look on eBay I'm sure I have seen them for less than 60 rupees....
  19. You need a flasher relay for led bulbs. They do not have enough resistance like a old fashioned bulb thus the "hyper" flash.....
  20. It's off an 07-14 Tahoe. You have to customize to make it fit.
  21. Yeah I hear ya. One of these days I will break down and buy the service manual. I always get them for what I have. The set for the c/k trucks is EXPENSIVE!
  22. I believe if your savvy with a volt meter you can check resistance of the element and make sure it's bad before you tear it apart
  23. I know for a fact you won't find the dash piece in real carbon fiber.... I think GM offered an accessory years ago that was painted to look like carbon fiber but it's been long discontinued. You might be able to find a dealer with one in on the shelf but you said your not interested in the fake stuff....
