  1. Ima follow up on this... been wanting to install one on my truck...

My truck and everything I own is in storage right now until our house is finished. Next time I go by to check on everything I plan to look at truck and see if the Belltec bar will clear my exhaust. Ill keep you posted..... once I get my lift set up at the new house Ill put it on the SSS.

  2.

What does it take to install?

How different is the coil spring mounting?

Would that sway bar be the same on all the Tahoe, Escalade, Yukon, Suburban?

Its a simple bolt on. A member in here did a nice write up on a junkyard bar they robbed from a Tahoe I believe. Just do a search.....

Im fairly sure the same bar was used across all the GMT utes so wouldnt matter what you grabbed it from.

  3. It seems that the Belltec one mounts forward like the discontinued Hotchkis bar. All the others mentioned above mount to the rear and my truck has a custom exhaust that I am not sure will clear. I dont want to take a chance on a non fit so Im leaning towards the front mount style. I would love to get my hands on the Hotchkis bar but I havent had any luck locating one......

  4. Sad news boys and girls. I received my harness via UPS today, opened the box, and the wrong part number harness was inside! It was obvious that this box was opened and retaped shut numerous times. I'm assuming someone robbed the harness they needed and threw in another from somewhere else - you could yell the ends of the harness in the 'sealed' box were dirty and dusty.

Thats the problem with old inventory.... had a similar experience. A near by dealer had a Chevy bedrug for my SS. I drove over two hours only to get to the dealer and it was empty with some old accessories inside. To say I was hot was an understatement......

  5. I would just repair the cover you have...... and never park on the street again. Lol

I hope you got the guys insurance and make them pay. Find an expensive body shop that does custom

Cars or corvettes...... dont goto a production body shop....

  6. Perfect combo even if its dirty... need to find me a black camaro so it matches my truck

Around 2000 I had a thing for black cars then got tired of looking at them wrong and getting scratches....... now I seem to be stuck on red. Lol

The Camaro looks even colder than the SS. Congrats on getting back closer to home. That's a good thing.

Yep that is hands down the dirtiest its ever been. Its my baby..... it only has 13,000 miles. We have a almost 2 year old gotta be closer to grandma and grandpa....
  7. Congrats on a safe trip. I assume that you are relocating?

    The SS looks mighty cold.

Yep I took a new job here. I got out of the heavy trucks and back to the car business..... Were from the west cost so a lot closer to home. I like it here a lot. Love the mountains..... yeah it was a bit chilly in Wyoming!

  8. Old girl did great..... not one issue on my way form North Carolina to here. I only got about 10-11 mpg pulling my trailer one tank I got 13! Unfortunately I ran into a snow storm in Wyoming and both cars saw first snow and possibly salt. Oh well thats common this time of year freak storms in Wyoming. I just rolled 74k now the truck gets retired and will see garage duty from now on.
