  1. I think that had more to do with launching with a Radix. However, I always seem to have better result using a similar method, which was don't stall it to the maximum. Stall the convertor to about 75% of the maximum, this will allow it to flash to the maximum, after you floor it, which seems to get our trucks out of the hole the best.
  2. If your gonna go with a darton sleeved LS2 aluminum block. I wouldn't run over a 4.00" stroke crank on the street. It will strain the motor to much for daily driving due to piston speed etc. Also at the power level you are talking about, even with a 427ci motor, you would need the best of everything to achieve that goal and be streetable. I would expect that you are going to be around the $27,000 to $30,000 mark with the 4L80, and running right. Hopefully that was what you are looking to spend

    HID's

I have a 4300K set in a stock lens housing and I think lighting pattern is fine.
  4. As soon as my motor is done, I will get back to you Another point is that, you don't need a 415 to make 425 hp. You can far surpass that level in a stock 6.0L with a heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and a good tune.
  5. Why spend a dime on a motor you have to change the entire top end, and the cam It would be cheap to build a new one from scratch for the same money that puts out 600 hp N/A. Ligenfelter scraped this motor together with old customer parts that they probably never gave back Now they are trying to rape someone on motor with a bunch stock parts, that aren't worth anything
  6. Dude, I wish i had the answer, because i want to do this to my truck next.

  8. I think they look nice, but I think for the price you pay, and minorly modded SSS would kill it.
