  2. No matter what we do, the only way to make prices go down, in an inflationary market, is to demand less. This is virtual impossible, with the way the U.S. transportation system is set up. Everyone still has to go work, school, etc. So how much can you really cut back, the answer is not that much. The other problem is, if we have a problem with oil supply on top of this, be it from the middle-east or venezuela, I have no doubt oil would hit $100/barrell instantly. On a lighter note: I can't wait to put my 414ci motor in, because I am sure it is going to get excellent mileage.

  4. Zippy, Yes this will be a N/A application 408/414 with 10.75 to 11.0 to 1 compression, on 91 octane. Cam in the .600 lift range, dur. @ .050 around 24x's Head flow should be good. Either RHS 225, AFR 225, or L-92 heads. The intake is the only thing I am trying to figure out. I can't decide if I should do a SSR 90, LS2 90, or sheetmetal for L-92.
  5. Turbo, I lost you with the abreviations, BSFC & IDC ??? Can you spell them out for me. I looking to make 600 @ the crank, so how would I be able to tune around this issue.
  6. Currently I am running a 255 intank, and 43.5's, but I am trying to figure out how much power I can make with this set-up. Can any of you guys estimate your horspower levels ??
