  1. Sr in Lexington ...the shaft is only 4 bolts in the front, then slide it out of the splined TC very esasy...about 5 minutes, I do it myself. This has also ben proven to not be harmful in the slightest "on a dyno" Now if you were to go out on the streeet it would not be good, but dyno, there have been hundreds of pulls if not thousands that I know of with no problems. All you are doing is kepping the front axle from moving, nothing else.
  2. 2.8 pulley, comp 212/218 .522 .529 114, stock block, pretty much all bolt ons....
  3. I wasn't trying to make incorrect info, just was not thinking...all I was thinking about is that I dynoed an AWD vehicle and not the full technicality fo the situation.....
  4. Ok since everyone's panties are wodded up I have just WHP listed now.....then people can decide if they think I have REAR or ALL HP ...I really don't give a damn
  5. Bro its relally not hat complicated....I have an AWD, but had to pull the shaft on a RWD dyno.....When I put AWHP in my sig all I was thinking about is that my truck is AWD.....now if I have broken some golden rule or law by doing so PLEASE ANYONE LMK! yes power is distributed to all four since its AWD, but OBVIOUSLY(I hope) there is not going to be any power transfered to the front with the shaft pulled..??????...Now what percentage and all that I DK, but all that is really irrelevant to this...is it not?
  6. exactly.....where else would it go? Now you are confusing me lol
  7. read #1 right above you would I get a different reading on an AWD dyno?
  8. 1. the truck is AWD.....do I not have AWHP? 2. forgot I took MP 112 out of my sig 3. We thouhgt that itt was a tuning issue that we could fix on the dyno...ruled that out after a near perfect tune(is there one of those? : ) Started elimnating things one by one and noticed a jjwire sitting a the header tube. Then after changing the wires I noticed the other wire that could not have been doing anything it looked so bad. That answer things for ya
  9. you think? I was almost embarrassed to post it. I think it should be at least 500 and it probably is now that I got the detonation issue fixed to where it pulls past 5500
  10. Anybody ever figured this out for our trucks...or at least a good ballpark? for example what would 450 whp(chassis dyno) equate to on an engine dyno? Thanks
  11. Since I dynoed, the trucks info center is telling me I need to service the brake booster...is this a coincidence or does this happen when the front shaft is pulled? BTW 455 whp and 497 wtq on 15* timing and 9lbs boost. It will dyno a lot higher now that I have new plug wires...one was sliced and one had a broken/rusted connector to the plug itself causing a terrible missed and sputter that stopped the pulling at 5500...by 5600 power was down to 300 whp which leads me to think that it would have kept pulling up to my 6100 rpm redline as it was pulling really hard up top that point.
  12. Actually I am not impressed with the numbers at all....I know it has more in it now that it does not detonate/sputter/miss/drop 150 whp within 100 rpm ...whatever you want to call it

EDIT= at first just had plugs and not plug wires
